    Like a lot of PL-based gyms, Third Street Barbell has a mixture of competitive powerlifters and regular folks concentrating on strength and fitness. We honestly didn’t expect to have a lifter earn a pro card this early in our history. At USAPL Mega Nationals in June, Avi Lieu placed fifth with a 430kg/948lbs total at 54.45kg / 120.04lbs bodyweight for a 507.86 DOTS coefficient. She hit a 152.5kg / 336.20lbs squat, 85kg / 187.39lbs bench press, and a 192.5kg/424.39lbs deadlift.We talk about the importance of lifting environment, good coaching, and learning to see yourself as a genuinely strong person.
