  • Tell Me All The Great Things

    08/01/2017 Duración: 35min

The stories of Elijah and Elisha are strange to be sure. Within the books of 1 & 2 Kings you find recording after recording of each of the kings of Israel and Judah, continuing to take the people of God in a downward spiral. The people are led astray by each king's unwillingness to put away foreign gods and worship the true God alone. But then right in the middle of the story, this downward spiral is interrupted by the ministries of Elijah and Elisha. Through them God calls his people back to him, but he does so in very strange ways by creating a deep thirst within his people.

  • Do Not Be Surprised

    18/09/2016 Duración: 31min

We’re called to be disciples of Jesus, not just to believe in him and what he’s done, but to follow him. Yet often enough, following Jesus is marked by our failures and struggles that make us feel guilty, ashamed, and not good enough. The story of Peter reminds us that perfection is not a qualification for being a good disciple. In fact, it’s in his failures where Peter learned what a true disciple is. Through the eyes of Peter we will experience his failure, restoration, and examine the Christian life through his letters.
