76ERS POSTCAST: Sixers fall to Nets, 100-96
13/02/2025 Duración: 29minThe Philadelphia 76ers lost their fifth in a row as they fell to the Brooklyn Nets 100-96 Wednesday night. Sixers prized offseason acquisition Paul George continued his disappointing run with the Sixers to this point scoring just two points in 37 minutes against Brooklyn. The Sixers loss squanders great nights from Kelly Oubre and newcomer Quentin Grimes who each scored 30 points in the loss. The Sixers are now off until February 20th when they host the Boston Celtics. Despite trailing through most of the game the best Sixers surge came in the final 43 seconds of the night. The Nets had opened up a 100-90 lead after nick Claxton knocked down a three. But that's when grime started to get the Sixers going. The Nets were kept off the board as Grimes would hit three layups to give the Sixers a fighting chance in the final 10 seconds. But unfortunately their surge was too little too late. Grime scored 9 of his 30 points in the final two minutes and 52 seconds of the game.Your favorite podcast now has a newsletter!
