Real Talk with KIA Topic: Domestic Violence TY Washington is a 20+ veteran in the fashion & design business. She owns her own shop where she does alterations & custom work of all kinds to include flipping clothes from one design to another. She also teaches the art of sewing from beginners to people in the business. She's a wife and mother and has couple of dogs. Outside of having the love of writing and sharing her craft with others, she mentors and stays involved in women support groups that advocates for great causes. Janeah Lucas better known as Mis Kittie was born and raised in Baltimore city.  Dealing with the lost of her father at age 12 she bgin to cchannel that pain into music.  Early in her career she was signed to a local record label called Teflon Records.  She dropped single "Get it Get it" and that quickly became a hit gaining her FM radio recognition with stations like 92q & 105.7. As  her career progressed she begun to do features with artist on Def Jam records and eventually lead to her to open up for some big name artist. While focused on branding herself she was offered the opportunity to host  a segment on keeping it real called hip hop 411.  That opportunity also allowed her to write and perform the shows theme song which aired on nbc & fox 45.
