In 2014 while attending middle school in Charlotte North Carolina, with collaboration of her mother NR Gaskin, Akhirah turned her short story; written in elementary school into a family fun children’s book. Akhirah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing, and playing soccer and running track. She is looking forward to writing more books. Kelsie Akers is currently the host of K-Star Radio Show. She is a high school student in Baltimore Maryland and believes in the importance of teaching young girls that they can be anything and everything they want to be.
