RUNNING FROM PERTH TO SYDNEY WITH TROY JONES
14/01/2021 Duración: 41minIn April 2021 Troy Jones will run 60km for 65 days straight and in doing so cross the width of Australia from Perth to Sydney which is just under 4,000km "I’m Troy Jones, I transform the bodies and minds of young people every day through mindset coaching and fitness. For the past 18 months I have embarked on a journey that often requires me to run 60kms in a day in 30 Degree heat. Why would someone do this? Well, I went through undiagnosed depression for years that I masked with severe drug use. Every week I would have crippling thoughts that I escaped through using party drugs only making the cycle more and more severe as time went on. “ What a great guy and what great motivation. I really hope you enjoy the show and check out Troy’s site right here. Connect with Troy: www.instragram.com/_troyjamesjones www.crossingforacause.net

Burn out, anger and 100% of 75% with Tom Walker
07/01/2021 Duración: 01h01minWelcome to a new year of podcasts. Rather than the normal tripe of setting big scary goals for the year and me firing you up with stuff everyone says but very few do I thought we would get a bit more real for this one. I called in Tom Walker who has had a roller coaster of a journey with the sport of triathlon as he has followed his dreams to race at the world champs but of course like many of us COVID had different plans. For pretty much the first time ever Tom in how own words is "opening up" and in doing so going through some really cool therapy. I know this show was not easy for him to do but I also know it is the start of something truly great for him and hopefully for you also. Enjoy the show. No Weakness. Marcus

This website is a collection of stuff I’ve created and other people’s work which I’ve found fascinating. If you want to check out my writing, you’ll find all of my articles here. Programing our subconscious with Jani Brajkovič
30/11/2020 Duración: 56minJani Brajkovič was on the podcast literally one year ago to the day. In that show we dove into Janis incredible cycling career, the highs and some of the lows. This show is totally different in that Jani talks us through some insane life changes he has gone through in the last 6 months where everything seems to be changing in his life. Jani has been a pro cyclist for years but at crucial stages of his career he would crash, get sick or simply not turn up on the day and he couldn’t figure out why. So he went on a journey to discover and in doing do looked into the behavior of his subconscious mind. Dug up events of his past that he is convinced shaped him and underwent perhaps one of the most transformative therapy series I have ever seen. Be warned this show is heavy but teaches so much. Thank you Jani. Connect with Jani: https://www.instagram.com/janibrajkovic/?hl=en

Meditation with Ben Smith
26/11/2020 Duración: 43minBen Smith is 27 years old, has represented Great Britain in triathlon and follows a number of endurance sports. What he also follows is meditation and a desire to help others. In Ben’s words: "My passion in life is personal growth and aiding others to progress in their own passions and endeavours. Im obsessed with it. Im a big believer in creating a bullet proof mind through shear hard work, getting uncomfortable and also Meditation. I want to get more people meditating, especially younger people. My goal is to remove the stigma behind it and get it out there. Its not just a small beneficial practice that might help some people - its a real life changing practice that effects endless areas of your life and with so many people suffering now mentally we need to do something and take action to prevent it getting worse. From my perspective it helped me as an athlete to progress way further than I initially thought id go and for other athletes out there - it would absolutely do the same for them too. Meditation

Developing an Ultra Mindset
05/11/2020 Duración: 34minWhat do we do when we can’t figure things out? What do we do when things get hard in life physically or mentally? Some of us deny it’s happening and try and continue as normal. Others give up. Neither seem to solve the issues we face. To get through, keep going and reach our goals we must have a solid decision making process, a formula for success……welcome to the ultra mindset! I was not dissimilar to the two options above in that when I came across adversity I would try and black it out, pretend it was not happening or in a way just give up thinking that “it’s not for me”. When I entered my first ultra and failed I knew this mindset had to change so I went on a journey to figure out a decision making process that would help me in tough situations in many areas of life. I share the process in this show in the Ultra Mindset. I hope it’s useful for you. No Weakness. Marcus Insta: What do we do when we can’t figure things out? You earn the right
22/10/2020 Duración: 38minAt what point do you progress? When is a certain weight too light and it’s time to move on? When should a 5km running goal become a 10km running goal? These are often tough questions and getting the answer wrong can have some seriously negative effects on our motivation and many other things in life. As kids we are told to dream big but when we dream too big we get told to slow down so perhaps we have been a bit confused since our early days. Over the years I have seen people hurt from trying to lift weights that they are not ready for and motivation shattered from people failing over distances that they have tried to run but of course failed. In this show I serve up a guideline to earning the right in many areas of life. Hope you enjoy it.

200km in the desert with Akbar Naqvi
24/09/2020 Duración: 01h12minIn 2018 I first met Akbar Naqvi, he wore weight lifting shoes to run the 400m, 800m or 1km parts of my CrossFit classes at InnerFight, we joked and laughed about it. One day he came to me and asked me if I would help him run an Ultra Marathon. There is a lot in between but I guess you could day the rest is history. Just recently Akbar ran 200km through the Al Qudra desert here in Dubai and I had the honor of supporting him. The guys over on the Run Strong podcast interviewed Akbar about the run and I thought it was only right that we feature that show right here this week. What a human being! Enjoy the show. Marcus
