It's a big college hockey day here in Minnesota as the ultimate showdown of the Gophers and Huskies takes place in Fargo in the Regional Final and Jess Myers with The Rink Live is here to tell us all what we can expect from this much anticipated matchup with the winner heading to Tampa in less than two weeks for the Frozen Four.   

The regular season is winding down in the NHL as we near the final few weeks before the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Lots of work to be done however, if you are the Minnesota Wild who are battling with Dallas and even Colorado for the top of the Central Division in what is sure to be a horse race. We’ll discuss that and today’s afternoon Central Division showdown with Chicago in Saint Paul with Dan Mizutani of the Pioneer Press.   

NCAA Men's Tournament Regionals are right around the corner, with that said, Jess Myers of The Rink Live joins us ahead of the rematch of Minnesota versus Michigan and talks the upcoming seeding and locations we can expect as Selection Sunday is tomorrow night for next weekends regionals. We also wrap with scoreboard updates and talk more March Madness as well. 

Phil Miller of the Star Tribune joins us to talk about the Twins from Florida following their loss to Pittsburgh and gives us the updates heading into the final stretch of Spring Training as we move closer to the new season officially starting up. 

We head outdoors with Steve Carney and discuss the everlasting winter weather with warmer temperatures ahead. Also soccer is underway for the Minnesota United so we bring in Andy Greder of the Pioneer Press ahead of their match in Colorado tonight. We break down the Twins loss to the Pirates from earlier in the day with Phil Miller, who covers the Minnesota Twins for the Star Tribune as we are looking ahead to the beginning of the Twins season in less than 2 weeks. Finally, Cal Soderquist brings us a pregame primer before their 5:30 tip in Toronto.

Wild have had quite a week both on and off the ice with their success lately and the moves being made heading into the trade deadline so we brought in Sarah McClellan with the Star Tribune to discuss the NHL Trade Deadline and how the Wild could deliver a significant blow to the Calgary Flames season and playoff hopes in their next two games.

David La Vaque covers prep sports for the Star Tribune and he chimes in to give us an update on the Boy's High School Hockey Tournament this coming week at the Xcel Energy Center.
