As Christians we approach God with confidence; not based on our loveliness, but our lovedness. This week we look at what it means to preach the Gospel to yourself, and in doing so lead a life based on what God says, not what our heart says any given day. It's one thing to believe in God, but do you believe Him? Have a listen.

How do we know what love is? That's the key question in this week's sermon from One John. Then, once we know what love is, what does this mean for us? Continuing in our series through One John, this week we look at what it means to be called Children of God. How do we become His children? How do we know that we belong to Him? And what does change in our lives? Check it out!

Does it actually matter what you believe? Can't we just love God and love others, and let that be it? In his first letter, John tells us that it DOES matter when it comes to who you say Jesus is; even calling people who proclaim a different Jesus 'anti-christs'. So, how do we know we're loving God? How do we know we're treating people in a way that is actually loving? We look to the person and work of Jesus. Have a listen!

In his first letter, John shows us that because of what Jesus has done, our sins are forgiven, we know God as our loving father, and we have overcome the evil one! He also writes about the tactics used by the evil one to draw our focus and affection away from God, and onto the things of the world. In this week's sermon, Don shows why John's encouragements assure us of the saving work of God; and how John's warnings help us to love what Jesus loves. Have a listen!

John writes that his readers should 'walk in the same way' Jesus walked, and that our obedience to the Father doesn't lead to our salvation, but rather shows that we have already been saved by Him.
