Week 2 of How To Be A Better Lover - This week we look at the many messages we get from culture about 'me'. Is life all about my self-actualisation? Is my happiness going to lead to my fulfilment? What's an appropriate response to these messages, and how does the Gospel free us from trying to be a better me? Have a listen!

Intimacy - we were made for it, but we often miss out on life-giving intimate relationships when we reduce intimacy to being all about sex. This week we look at how to have intimacy; with God, with each other, with your spouse, and with your kids/parents. It could be a life changer for you. Have a listen!

When the Holy Spirit was promised, the Old Testament prophet Joel said it would come with young men & women speaking prophetically, and young & old having visions and dreams. Your words are very significant - we see this throughout scripture; but Solomon takes specific aim in Ecclesiastes at how you use your words - for building up, for tearing down... for exercising wisdom, or embracing foolishness. This week John Harris opens up Ecclesiastes to show us how to live a life of satisfaction - as this series continues to parade our idols in front of us; showing how each one lacks - but true contentment for people made for eternity, can only be found in eternal things. If fulfilment came through seeking pleasure in experiences, purchases, sex, control, success, and relationships, we'd have a lot more satisfied people walking around! In Ecclesiastes, Solomon warns against looking to these things as the source of pleasure; and shows us how they can be freely enjoyed when we're already fully satisfied in the joy of the Lord.
