God does not measure our present spiritual state by our past spiritual activities or what we have accomplished for Him. A believer’s relationship with the Lord is not a function of ‘past tense’ but a matter of ‘present continuous tense’. The question now is, have you made any significant progress in your spiritual life so far this year? Or you have diminuendo—on spiritual recession? What specific testimony do you have about the Lord’s work in your life, pertaining to your PSG (Personal Spiritual Growth) in the last six months? With the help of God, you can still end this year on a note of victory, if you will surrender to Him.

Say Hi“The Lord is my shepherd” as we often recite is a confession of our complete trust in the Lord by expressing our complete dependence in His abilities to take care of us. As a matter of fact, it is an indication of our total commitment to His leadership, guidance, providence and direction. The sheep is open to attack unless it is secured by the guidance of a shepherd. The shepherd knows what is good for the sheep, all that is required of the sheep is just to follow.

Say HiGod is always looking out for people He can depend on and find trust worthy to entrust the riches of His grace into their care. He is in constant search of ready men (not ready made men) that He can equip and use. For everyone that will come into God’s service there are specific demands that are necessary and fundamental for us to function in the King’s Court. There is a user’s manual that must be strictly adhered to if the machine will last, so if we must last in God’s hand then we must master His plan for our lives. Our challenge this morning is that as God’s workman we must deliberate pay attention to the demands placed on us as His servants, so that we can be qualified to continually offer to Him acceptable services in His vine yard.
