Say HiApostle Peter is another example of a glory carrier.From an ordinary, unlearned, unschooled, “raw” fisherman, Peter became a foremost Apostle.Peter’s ministry legacy remains outstanding even several thousand of years after his passing into eternity.Scripture reveals that Peter contacted the glory on two vivid occasions viz. On the Mount of Transfiguration, and on the day of Pentecost - Matt. 17:1-9; (2 Peter 1:16-18); Acts 2:1-4, 11.Till His death, the Spirit of glory and of God rested on him. God’s presence and power was with Joseph and that made the difference and helped him to achieve glory in spite of all he went through. Joseph went from the pit to Potiphar’s house; he went from Potiphar’s house to the prison and from the prison to the palace and eventually he became a Prime Minister in Egypt. Good as this may sound, the revelation we have in the Bible goes beyond this. This prophetic declaration came through Prophet Isaiah at the time the remnants were in disarray, confused and dejected, not knowing what to do and how to make sense of their lives. While many of them were certain that it was God that delivered them from the powers that took them captives they doubted themselves and possibly questioned God because of the situation they found themselves in. So, while we live in anticipation of the promises made and lofty heights envisioned we are careful not to be deterred by the strains of disappointments we face as things are apparently not turning out as envisioned. We can all attest to the truth that all God said was going to happen this year are already happening. If He said to us that “...darkness will cover the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples” and it is currently happening, then we should believe Him to show us His glory as well.We have actually experienced His glory in a measure as promised in Isa. 60:1b & 2b. This explains why nothing is missing in our camp. I encourage us to remain under the glory cloud.
