Feathers And Foes: A Bird's Of Prey Podcast

365 days later, the Birds of Prey returns, well...sort of.  Yes, the Oracle, Zinda, and the Huntress are busy in Gotham, but Black Canary is across the globe. Now don't worry, the Jade Canary is filling in for her.  Now, I should mention the Jade Canary is Lady Shiva.  Yep, she's substituting for Dinah while she is being...initiated???  

Harley Quinn lost her woman, her family, and perhaps, her mind?  Returning to Gotham to confront those who destroyed her home/business and family.  But as you might imagine, things don't go as plan.

Oh boy.  The Game is On, indeed.  The Calculator can not rest till he discovers who this Oracle character is...and when he does rest, he dreams of capturing the Oracle.   Helena Bertinelli is going deep undercover, setting up best laid plans by making herself a Capo, which can have her take down organized crime from the inside. And Black Canary is working on herself, being in the moment with her team, while looking forward, apprehensively, to resolve some loose ends with a prior relationship. Before the action begins, Black Canary meets with the Batman, imploring him to drop the jerk routine and make things right with Oracle, and to lay off of Huntress, who is in a good place right now and does not need his manipulation routines.   Oh, and Rose/Thorn is running a muck in Metropolis, which the birds would like to put an end to immediately.  Will the Birds of Prey return to Metropolis?  Will Huntress continue to attend church services?  And will the Oracle tell anyone about her Matrix visits?

Gail Simone has our heroes in the Mid West, facing a threat that is actually doing some good, which really places the Birds in a situation where they have to reevaluate their moral code.  

Mark, Laurel, and Ashford discuss the second saga with the Birds traveling to the mid west to put a stop to those vigilantes that are crossing the line.  In this issue, Dinah, Helena, and Zinda try to play townies in a place that refuses to answer questions.  Oh, and the Braniac issue with Barbara is still lingering.  

The Birds are out of Gotham and into a new adventure in the Mid West.  Lori, AKA, Black Alice, is filled with unchecked angst and a huge range of power, which will create quite the challenge for our Birds of Prey.
