He tells us about warning signs God sends us to protect us and why He doesn't send us warning signs because He's mad at us, He warns us for our own benefit to protect us because he wants us to be successful. God warns us with His protection, guidance & direction and keeping us in healthy community. God knows we all need someone to watch out for us! We just have to remember the power of submission and why it is so powerful in our relationship with God. We cannot get in our own way, it sabotages His process. God's correction is His loving eye on us!

Pastor Willard talks to us about how we have to be patient in our lives and our walk with God. He has a process for all of us in every situation and season in our lives. God is the planner, Jesus is the vessel and the Holy Spirit is the action plan! We have to obey Him through the good and bad times, obedience is God's love language and will always reward us in trusting Him. Obedience is what promotes us in the Kingdom of God. We aren't supposed to know every detail in His process for us, He will send people into our lives to sow wisdom and guidance for the process. God provides order for every process!

God puts certain people in our lives for a reason. If we're really living for Jesus, there should be things about us that point others to Jesus. Jesus corrects and disciplines the ones He loves! If we're going to stay on Yahweh's way, we have to be disciplined. Nothing worth having is easy! We have to repent, endure hardness and let God's Word and others correct us, then we will see and turn away from our lack of concern. For every trial and suffering we have, God has blessings for us!

We can't re-create Jesus into an idol like the golden calf in the Bible. In following Jesus, you will lose some friends who don't follow Him. Being a Christian is hard, but Jesus gives us His grace which is sufficient. Just going to church and serving doesn't make you a Christian, it's the fruit we produce. Talent and abilities don't tell the story of who we are as a Christian. God doesn't expect perfection, He wants us to grow and mature with Him. The thing we all need to be doing as Christians is seeking stability and faithfulness with Him. We cannot do church our way, it never produces fruit, we have to do the work to bear fruit!

A healthy fear of God is a reverence to His Word. We have to be spiritually mature enough to not let offense make us follow our own ways. God will move for you only when He's ready.

We don't have to be perfect for God to create a meal for us. God is most satisfied in us when we are the most glorified in him! What do we have to protect that God can't protect on His own? If God's presence isn't with us, we're operating on our own flesh. We have to rely on the glory of God. When we rely on His glory, we're allowing Him to tap into our presence. We can't be who God wants us to be without relying on His glory. The joy of the Lord is our strength and is longstanding and everlasting! We have to sacrifice ourselves and place ourself at the alter. We must learn His way before we can experience His glory. We have to die to ourselves every day. Salvation isn't free, it requires us to give all of ourself!
