Welcome back to Season 2! For our first week back, we wanted to talk about Serena and the US Open, which only got us thinking about the ways men are allowed to act and took us down a wormhole of dudes that made us really not happy the past few weeks. There's a lot of Sauvignon Blanc and even a little 3LW in the mix with our good friend Patricia chatting with us.

A lighter topic this week! Weddings!    With Aubrie on her way down the aisle and a good friend of Capital F, Lia, getting married this summer, we wanted to talk about the stress and preparation of weddings. Luckily these two are super low key brides and their focus is on the fun.

This week, Aubrie is away but we have rad guest and Planned Parenthood lobbyist Ro come to talk with Kait about Reproductive Health and rights and the many aways it effects women. With Ireland's referendum passing (Erin Go Bragh!) we talk about what the benefits of Planned Parenthood are for the average woman in the US and what access to birth control can mean for a lot of women, other than the obvious.

The Capital F gals hang with our fabulous lady friend Sacha, who is a television producer. We chat about our favorite new shows and films featuring women's stories, and how all of the sisters are doing for themselves to get their work created. From Reese Witherspoon and Hello Sunshine Production to Jessica Chastain, women are working harder than ever to make sure our stories get told. We also reflect on what it means for the industry to get behind these women and for young women to see diverse stories being told.Of course it also brings up how the #MeToo movement has affected it and the changes that are and are not occurring. This week, we discuss a recently published article by Harper's Bazaar regarding the concept of emotional labor, and what that mean's for women and what it means for the future. We also discuss one of our favorite bold ladies, Jameela Jamil, and her campaign to change the way women (and the world) determine our value.
