Jews protest against Christian missionaries at the Western Wall
28/05/2023 Duración: 03minHundreds of Jews, including Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Aryeh King, stage a demonstration near the Western Wall in Jerusalem today against what they described as an attempt by Christians to convert Jews at the holy site. King told reporter Arieh O’Sullivan that the Christians had announced that they were at the site to engage in missionary activity and some of the participants were Israeli Messianic Jews. He said missionizing in Israel was illegal, but police dealt with it with a lax hand and the demonstration today was to send a message to Christians that they are not allowed to convert Jews in Israel.
