US federal funding cuts to the cybersecurity center that serves state and local government entities has raised concern about  vulnerabilities in these decentralized systems.  The cabinet voted unanimously on Sunday in favor of a no-confidence motion against Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara, in a move designed by the government to hasten her dismissal from office. Justice Minister Yariv Levin, who is spearheading the process of ousting the attorney general, said that the move was a result of what he alleged was Baharav-Miara’s “unfitting conduct” and the “substantive, and prolonged differences of opinion” between her and the government which Levin said prevented effective cooperation. The controversial anti-Semitism conference will take place next week in Jerusalem, organized by Diaspora  Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli . His decision to invite representatives of radical right-wing European parties sparked a backlash and sparked  a wave of cancelations, including by European Jewish Congress President Ariel Muzicant and  French philosopher Bernard-Henri Lévy and others.    Chikli responded by saying: “I reject the assertion that the right-wing parties are the central threat to Jewish life in Europe. The threat is different: radical Islam. A new groundbreaking report released by the Institute for Jewish Policy Research (JPR), Israelis abroad: The transformation of the Jewish Diaspora?, finds that 630,000 ex-pat Israelis live across the world, with the majority of them choosing English-speaking and European countries as their new home?.  The report, authored by the Director of the JPR European Jewish Demography Unit, Dr Daniel Staetsky, notes that an estimated 325,000 children have been born to these Israelis when living abroad, bringing the total number of Israeli migrants and their children to close to a million.
