    The ongoing war has taken an emotional and mental toll on IDF reservists and their families. Raziel Baraby, an entrepreneur and engineer in his civilian life and a reserve major in the Givati reconnaissance unit in his military role, realized during his experience as a commander on the battlefield that his responsibilities to his soldiers extend also to providing them with tools to build resilience. He founded the "War4Soul," forum,  comprised of IDF reservists, working to provide effective trauma treatment for reservists, and build national resilience programs.   • Cartoonist Yaakov Kirschen's Dry Bones resonated around the world

    Brooklyn-born Israeli cartoonist Yaakov Kirschen, whose iconic “Dry Bones” cartoons appeared in newspapers for decades, has died at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba at the age of 87 after a lengthy illness. Kirschen, who made aliyah in 1971, began drawing his trademark cartoon “Dry Bones” in 1973—a series inspired by the biblical vision of the Valley of Dry Bones and featuring a main character named Shuldig (Yiddish for guilty or blame).
