Pierce Point Community Church

Today is all about context. We will spend our time in Romans 3:9-18 discovering what the Apostle Paul means by this very controversial passage. Other texts include Psalm 10:7, 14:1-3, 36:1, 53:1-3, 140:3, Jeremiah 5:16, and Isaiah 59:7-8.

My hope is that our answer will be threefold: 1. That we humbly walk in righteousness vs. hypocritically walk in unrighteousness. 2. That we do not just hear God's word but do it. And 3. That our lives show the covenant promise of God - a circumcised heart.

Today is week one of a new series on the book of Romans. We will set the stage as Paul shares with us a vital truth; We become like what we worship! Scriptures include Romans 1, Psalm 115:4-8, Luke 6:40 and Ephesians 5:1-2.

The Apostle Paul wrote that resurrection is of first importance. He also said that without the resurrection of the dead our faith is futile. But do you know why? Today we are going to answer that question, and I believe, walk away with a greater sense of purpose in every area of life! Our text is 1 Corinthians 15.

When it comes to determining right and wrong, we are inundated with opinions, well-meaning ideas, and even instincts. But as Christians, we have something far greater; the Spirit inspired words of God. Today we are going to learn from the Apostle Peter that age-old truth that "the word of the Lord endures forever." Our primary text is 1 Peter 1:13 - 2:3.
