We love our camp family, specifically our Waterfront Director Jeremy. So when it's Jeremy's birthday we have to celebrate with a SPECTACULAR day at camp....and that we did my friends. The bday boy himself joins me on the pod to discuss League playoffs, new tournaments (paddle ball, chess and volleyball), new clinics (wrestling and rugby), Twilight League, Prime Time, the Way ceremony and....THE START OF GREEN AND WHITE. This is a must listen pod for sure!

We have a great pod today for you all! I am joined by Senior Cabin members Max Beermann and Micah Gagerman for our weekly "Ask the Director" segment where the boys from camp offer suggestions about how to improve Menominee. This week's topic: Food! The three of us area also joined by podcast favorite Josh Ingram for color commentary. Then we recap the last 2 days of events at camp including Camper/Counselor switch day 2019. 

Wow it has been an incredible couple days of camp and with the help of the Weil brothers (Jackson and Ryan) we dive deep into all of it! We cover the entire second day of the Kawaga competition, and discuss the wins/losses, ups/downs and everything we could possibly think of that happened at Menominee and Kawaga. We also talk about this Lazy Day Friday at CM and break down the Camper-Counselor switch day debates that just ended in Wasserman Hall. This one is a MUST listen!

On this DOUBLE episode of the podcast, I am first joined by Senior Cabin members Jake Reinhardt and Jonah Friedman (along with their counselor Jackson Weil). The boys break down an awesome day at camp yesterday that included a 16A win on the BBSD against Ojibwa followed by our 5-year night ceremony where we inducted 19 NEW MEMBERS! Then we dive into 'Ask the Director', the weekly segment where the senior cabin boys compile suggestions from campers of all age and present them to me. This week's topic: themes for socials with the girls camps. Then for Part 2 we bring in 5 members of the victorious 16A squad (Louie Kanter, Gavin Bramwit, Jack Behar, Alec Gau and Kase Ratzlaff) to break down the epic battle that occurred on the BBSD yesterday. We have an extra special episode of the podcast today! Usually we have 2 campers on the podcast, but tonight we had one camper up for double the podcast workload. Eli Fisch joins me tonight to break down our first intercamp competition with Camp Timberlane, his camp highlights, Menominee firsts, and SO much more. I think Eli might take over hosting this thing one day...

First year campers (and cousins) Evan and Russell Rosenthal join me to talk about today's instructional activities, MCAA League action, Twilight League, and one of our favorite camp fire skit nights....Song Night 2019!! Tonight on this bitter sweet episode of the podcast, we celebrate the end of an incredible session at camp. As is tradition, the CIT's join me tonight on their last night as a cabin group to recap first session, talk about their highlights and shout out amazing moments they have seen this summer. We also talk about the things they are excited about and nervous for as they all prepare to move into cabins for second session. On this EXCLUSIVE episode of the camp cast we are, once again, making history. Today, as the boys from CM socialized with the lovely ladies over at Chippewa Ranch Camp, Sari Hirsch (Assoc. Director CRC) and I hosted a live podcast event. We set up a booth at the social and opened up the mic to everyone and anyone that wanted to join. We had SO MUCH FUN! I think the CRC girls were a little more eager to be on the pod than the CM boys, but we had some phenomenal guests. With so many people in and out and the social going on, the recording definitely got a little messy at times, but trust me, it's worth it! Enjoy...

On this super special extra fantastic 4th and 5th of July episode I am joined by Simon Mann and Neo Schneider! We discuss the historic start to British & American that took place at Camp Marimeta during our social (the first time we have EVER done it off CM grounds), as well as our first day of B&A and our first intercamp competition of the summer with our friends from Camp Timberlane. Simon and Neo were great guests so enjoy.

They just got back from their 11-year old canoe trip and Copper Falls camping trip, respectively, and are eager to share ALL of the stories from those trips. We go deep into each trip, major highlights, upgrades from 2018 trips and so much more. They share some really special camper moments and many "Menominee Firsts".
