If your volunteers don’t know what you need or how to help, they won't’ be sure what to do. Have a list of tasks that they can complete.

These days are when a corporation urges its employees to volunteer in the community. An example of this is employees will be required to donate a certain amount of hours of community service. These hours are then submitted to their place of employment, and that company will match an amount of dollars per hour to the nonprofit of choice. Sound like a great opportunity? It really can be! As we go over this subject, keep in mind big corporations that are in your area. You never know where opportunities may lie for your organization with these companies.
