  • Do not Weary, Your Friends!

    24/03/2022 Duración: 04min

Let your foot be seldom in your neighbor's house, lest he has his fill of you and hate you." Proverbs 25:17 Friendship is the golden thread that ties the heart of all humanity together, but if we don't know how to maintain it, it will loosen and fall apart in no time. Remember, It is easy to feel down and out when going through a tough time. And when you are feeling down, it is natural to want to talk to your friends about it. However, there is a limit to how much your friends can take. You do not want to wear them out with your problems. Though you can talk to them as much as you need, be mindful of how much they can handle. When it comes to interacting with our friends, we should be cognizant of how much we invade their personal space. If we cross the line and become too demanding or nosy, they may start to view us as a nuisance rather than a friend. That is why today's bible verse in Proverbs 25:17 encourages us to respect our friends' boundaries and not overstep our bounds out of curiosity or boredom. Pro

  • Where Treasures Truly Lies! Part Two

"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy, he sells all that he has and buys that field." Matthew 13:44 Are you looking for treasure? The kind of treasure that will make you wealthy beyond your wildest dreams? Treasure is something that we all search for in our lives. It can be something as simple as a new car or as complicated as the meaning of life. We all want to find that one thing that will make us happy, and we'll do whatever it takes to get it. But unfortunately, what we're looking for is often right in front of us, and we don't even know it because many people overlook it. So the key to finding treasure is to look inside yourself. Once you find what's inside, you'll be able to unlock the door to untold riches. God is the source of wisdom. I'm talking about the treasure that lies within every one of us -- our connection to God. A lot has been said about the human connection to God and what that might mean for us. In Matthew 13:44, Jesus

  • Where Treasures Truly Lies!

    23/03/2022 Duración: 04min

Where Treasures Truly Lies! "The intentions of a human's heart are deep waters, but those who have understanding draws them out." Proverbs 20:5 The greatest treasure is not in gold or jewels but finding God who makes you and becomes what you are called to do. So, in His eternal and infinite wisdom, God has decided to share some facts about his identity, character, purpose, and intentions for the redemption of humankind with the fallen race of finite humanity. He created us in his image, with a mind to think and a choice to choose. And while God has revealed many things to us through nature, our inner conscience, and His God-breathed word, many secrets remain concealed from us. Proverbs 25:2 says, " It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter." When King Solomon was preparing to take his father David's kingdom, he recognized that the only way he could be sure of it as if he had wisdom. Therefore, he opted to seek God's knowledge above longevity since he was a man

"This Jesus is the stone you rejected, the builders, which has become the cornerstone." Acts 4:11 Jesus is the solid foundation we stand on. He is the unchanging one who never fails. So we can cling to Him for strength and hope in times of trouble. His love never fails, and He is always there for us. The world will tell you to run from the storms and seek money, power, and fame. But Jesus is the only one who can give you what you need to face life's struggles. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you on a cross of shame, suffering, and sorrow. In the fourth chapter of the book of Acts, we are introduced to a man named Jesus. He is described as "the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone." This scripture is significant because it speaks to the power and purpose of Jesus. Even though He was rejected by those who should have known better, He still fulfilled His destiny and became the cornerstone of our faith. As believers, we can take comfort in knowing that no m

Zurushiddai "There is no one holy like the LORD. There is no one besides You! And there is no rock like our God." 1 Samuel 2:2 "There is no rock like our God" was a popular simile among Israel's inspired songwriters, depicting the image of a rock from a layman's perspective. Let us consider who dares to smash a rock with ease; there is no other stone that compares. Hannah was familiar with this song, as evidenced by the term "rock" applied to God. The same word frequently appears in the Psalms, and it simply means, "Thou alone art a secure protection and sanctuary to those who fled to thee, and trust in thee," as I have discovered from my own experience. For there is none like you is a suffix telling us that there may be other gods who can be referred to as Rock, but I tell you that our Rock is different and unique. Deuteronomy 32:31; But their "rock" is not like our Rock; even our enemies concede" and our Rock cannot flee like the gods of the Amorites or the Jebusites, giving us the confidence that we will n

  • Is God Really Complicated?

    20/03/2022 Duración: 05min

"But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: "God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6 When we think of God, we often think of Him as being complicated, looking down on us. However, this verse from Psalm 138:6 tells us that even though God is on high, He still regards the lowly. This means that no matter who we are or what we have done, God loves and respects us. However, while God loves and respects us, He also resists pride. This means that He won't let them get away with their prideful attitude and actions; and will judge them accordingly. It is required of everyone in a race of the kingdom to do so with wisdom and understanding. Everyone must have an understanding of what qualifies and what can disqualify them from finishing the race. Our knowledge of God, who He is, and whom He represents in our life is very important to our walk with Him and our Christian race. It is surprising to know that the dimension of the Lord captures the topic for today's devotion. He respects yet re

"The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon." Psalm 92:12 Welcome to today's daily devotional. The past six days' devotionals have been about the importance of standing out in a sea of conformity from different stories. I am sure you have learned about the importance of integrity, self-respect, honesty, and trustworthiness from these devotionals. These are essential characteristics to have if you want to succeed in life. Jude 1:2 says, "Mercy, peace, and love, be multiplied unto you in Jesus name. Amen. One of the most important things you can do to develop these characteristics is reading your Bible and praying every day. "Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it, you may grow up into salvation." (1 Peter 2:2). And as you spend time with God, He will help you grow in these areas. Another thing you can do is find good role models who exhibit these qualities and look up to them—especially learning from Christ Jesus, our Lord, and savior. Amen. Matthew 1

    19/03/2022 Duración: 05min

Standing Out in a Sea of Conformity! Part Six God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM have sent me to you." Exodus 3:14 It can be hard to feel like you matter when standing out in a sea of conformity. You may feel invisible in a world that values sameness over individuality. But remember, you are never alone. God never changes! Remember, "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, with whom there is no change or shifting shadow." James 1:17. When you find your identity in Him, you will discover that you matter more than you imagined. You are unique and special, created in His image for a purpose. Don't be afraid to be different; stand up for what you believe in and shine your light into the darkness! The Bible said that despite the pressure of life around Jesus, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)." Despite the pressure around Daniel, he refused to give up on his faith. He did

Standing Out in a Sea of Conformity! Part Five "Let no one despise or take advantage of your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, conduct, love, spirit, faith, and purity." 1 Timothy 4:12 It is important to be yourself because everyone else is already taken. I understand that there is often pressure to do something extraordinary or shocking for those who choose to stand out. From part four of "Standing Out in a Sea of Conformity," Jesus Christ showed us that standing out doesn't involve doing something grand or attention-grabbing. When Satan pressured Him to turn stones into bread, Jesus simply replied, "It is written: 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:4). Even in temptation and pressure, Jesus Christ remained true to His convictions. He knew that obeying God's Word was enough to set Him apart from the rest of the world. We can follow Jesus' example by living our lives according to God's Word, no matter what others may think or s

Standing Out in a Sea of Conformity! Part Four "The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the crookedness of the treacherous will destroy them." Proverbs 11:3 It can be difficult to stand out from the rest in a society where conformity is embraced. With so many people following the same trends and behaving in similar ways, it's easy to get lost in the sea of conformity. However, a few qualities can help you stand out and be remembered. Integrity, honesty, and courage are just a few of these attributes. If you have them, use them to your advantage. It can be tough, but it's not impossible. That is why you need to find your inner strength and let that shine through. Believe in yourself, and don't let anyone tell you to do what is not God's will for life. When it comes to standing out in the sea of conformity, Jesus is number one, and that's why he was a challenge for Satan to mess with. He could not be seduced by the obvious things, like sex, stealing, lying, and dishonesty, to which we often adjust. So

"Having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame." 1 Peter 3:16 A man or woman with integrity is someone who upholds his or her values and beliefs, even when it is difficult or unpopular to do so. For example, I read a story titled Jewels Under the Saddle. It was a story about a merchant and a Camel seller who came across each other at the marketplace. They are both skilled in negotiating a deal at all times. The camel seller, pleased with his skill of worming out what he felt was an excellent price, parted with his camel, and the merchant chuffed that he had struck a fantastic bargain, proudly walked home with the latest addition to his large livestock. On arriving home, the merchant called his servant to help him take out the camel's saddle. The unwieldy, heavily padded saddle was too difficult for the servant to manage independently. However, something was hidden under the saddle; the servant found a small velvet pouch that he dis

"After removing Saul, He raised David as their king and testified about him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after My own heart; he will carry out My will in its entirety." Act 13:22 Don't be afraid to be different. Heaven and the earth need more people who are unique and true to themselves. Remember when God looked upon David and said, "you are the apple of my eye." You are different. Therefore, you will be the king of Israel because you are different from everyone else. Just like David, can God trust you to lead His people without doubt and fear not? If so, you absolutely must be different from the rest of them. David governed the people with the fear of God; he subdued the enemy as God commanded him; he worshiped God-like who cares. Do you know that God can still say the same thing about you as well when you continue to do the will of God as he commands? David has regard to God's will in any circumstances of his life, either as a shepherd boy or a king, as a sinner or saints. David understood the i

"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 In a world where it seems like everyone is trying to be the same, it can be difficult to find ways to stand out and be unique. For many people, this means following the latest trends and wearing the hottest clothes. But there are other options for those who want to express their individuality more subtly. One of the simplest and most effective ways to stand out from the crowd is simply being yourself. Of course, it takes time, dedication, discipline, and effort to change yourself, but your lives will be much more pleasurable when you do these. Your DNA, eye color, or personality won't be like someone else's. You will have a unique perspective on life because you were not a carbon copy of anyone else but God's image. You will continue to play copycat to follow the crowd, but you will not enjoy being that way. Likewise, you can't continue to suppor

The Essence of that Life to Us! Part Two "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to God's great compassion, he has delivered us back to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 1 Peter 1:3 The essence of life is to find your purpose and live it. However, many people find their purpose in the wrong places. They don't know their true calling or how to get there. But there is someone who brought us life, and following him will give us a purpose. That Divine person is our Lord Jesus Christ, whose life is full of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness. It is the life that we are all called to live. This life is a gift from God. In John 6:38, Jesus said, "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me." When we accept Jesus into our hearts, we are given the power to live this Christ-life. This life is not always easy; it can be quite challenging at times. But it is worth it! The Chris

"For whoever finds me gets life and obtains favor from the LORD." Proverbs 8:35 The life of Christ is the essence of Christianity. For Christians, Jesus is the embodiment of God's love and grace. His life provides us with a roadmap for living a fulfilling life. Jesus taught about the need to forgive others, put others before ourselves, and have faith in God. He showed us that it is possible to live a life that is filled with compassion and love. By following Jesus' teachings, we can experience true happiness and peace. Because through Him, grace comes into existence, which has won us favor from God. The ungodliness may look for excuses to deny the truth about Christ's wisdom and the grace he brought us. However, I will like you to remind them that humankind is dead until they discovered Christ who called and converted them by His grace so that they could live a life of justification and sanctification. They found life in a trusting relationship with Christ, and by communion with Him; they find joy and fulfil

The Secret of Longevity! Part Two "You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess." Deuteronomy 5:33 Longevity is something that everyone wants. We all want to live a long, full life. But what does longevity actually mean? Longevity is not just about living a long life. It is about living a good life, a life full of happiness and joy, a life full of purpose and meaning. That is why the major key factor in longevity is the presence of God in human life, not just during times of spiritual revival but throughout life because the wisdom that comes from knowing and loving God will prolong the life (Proverbs 9:10-11). That is why Deuteronomy 5:33 says, "You shall walk in all the way that the Lord your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may go well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you will possess." The key to Biblical longevity is

"My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; For the length of days. And years of life and peace they will add to you." Proverbs 3:1-2 Scientists have extended some life through various interventions with God's wisdom in recent years. In some cases, this has increased their lifespan by a few percentages. However, while these discoveries are groundbreaking, there is still much to learn about the secret to longevity. What works for one species might not work for another, and various factors are likely involved. However, the Bible is full of wisdom that applies to every area of our lives, including how we can live long and fulfilling lives. Today's Bible verses are exceptional and an urgent reminder of the divine's duty because of its overarching influence on our destiny; it's drawing our attention to something that cannot be substituted, exchanged, or earned. There are no other means but to enjoy a sustained and prosperous life. But, remember and Know full well that these statements are

Why God Made You? Part Two "But for this purpose, I have raised you, to show you my power, so that my name may be proclaimed in all the earth." Exodus 9:16 It's a question that people have asked throughout the ages: Why did God make me? Some believe that humans were created as a way for God to express his love and compassion, others believe that humans were created to lead others to God, and still others believe that humans were created as a way to help God govern and oversee the universe. To some, the question still seems like an unanswerable question. But to believers, there is an answer. When we look at ourselves in the mirror, we see a reflection of who we are. In the same way, when we look at God, we see a reflection of His character. We are made in God's image, so we reflect His love and care for all of creation. God created us for a purpose, and we are valuable to Him. He loves us and wants us to be happy. That's why He gave us free will – so that we can choose to love Him back. And when we do, it brin

Why God Made You? "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands." Psalm 138:8 When looking at a newborn baby, it's hard to imagine that they will do something great one day. But every person has a unique and specific purpose in life, placed there by God. Romans 8:28 says, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." You may not know what that purpose is yet, but don't worry. God knows. He knows your purpose. And I pray that purpose will be fulfilled in Jesus' name. Amen. If you are afraid that you are different from others and won't do well in some area of life, don't worry about it. You may not understand it now, but God does. We are all incredibly unique and special snowflakes made by a loving God for a specific purpose. We are all God's masterpieces, and he has a unique plan for each of us. Why God's way takes longer? 2 "He leads the humble in what is right and teaches the humble his way." Psalm 25:9 God's way is always the best, even if it does take longer. Though we may not understand why things happen the way they do, we can trust that God has a plan and is working in our lives for our ultimate good. Let us be patient and allow God to do His work in our lives, knowing that He is always faithful even though the world is always in a hurry. We are constantly looking for the easy way out. We want things to happen quickly and don't want to wait. We are so impatient that we are often willing to take shortcuts that can ruin our lives. Let's look at Psalm 92:7, which says, "That when the wicked sprouted up like grass and all who did iniquity flourished, it was only that they might be destroyed forever." And Psalm 92:12 says, "The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon." There are a few interesting points about the psalms 92:12 and 92:7. The first is that
