Matthew 12:35 emphasizes how true love comes from within and should be expressed with actions. Proverbs 4:23 further reinforces this point by saying, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life," meaning that what we keep in our hearts will determine our actions towards others. Expressing your love through action means being thoughtful and showing genuine care instead of simply uttering words or making empty promises. —so, what kind of love are you expressing? Doing something out of the ordinary can be a sign of pure affection. Whether it's giving someone flowers or cooking dinner for them, these small gestures can make all the difference. The concept of love can be further broken down into attraction, satisfaction, and commitment. From an evolutionary perspective, it is believed to be an adaptive behavior to facilitate social bonding and reproduction. Love is a mysterious thing with many different types and forms. It

"And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in the due season, we will reap if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9 I read a story of a young woman, driven by her faith and dreams, who aspired to make a difference in the world. Yet life did not offer the desirable opportunities she was hoping for, and she found herself frustrated with the status quo. She is a strong woman with a strong faith in God who believes that all things are possible with confidence. Yet, with that faith alone, she is desperate to find a helper and believes her prayers will be answered because she needs a companion to assist her in life, turn her life around, and provide comfort, yet each time she prays for help and finds one, she ends up losing it into divorce. After much contemplation, She started to understand why when a wise mentor told her that although having faith was essential, adding virtue was equally important if she wanted to achieve success. "And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge." 2 Peter 1:5 Adding virtue to your faith is like adding wings to an angel - it gives you the power to soar. Virtue is a quality that many strive to achieve in life. It stands for strength of character, goodness, and morality. The Bible provides guidance on increasing our Virtue Quotient (VQ). 2 Peter 1:5 says, "For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue." This verse encourages us to add virtue to our faith to succeed. Because Adding virtue to your faith can bring a sense of purpose and clarity to your life, allowing you to live with more confidence and joy.  Virtue brings balance to faith, helping us to stay rooted in our principles and find strength in our beliefs. I know some people don't get the memo about adding virtue to faith; they only think about faith alone. I have faith, they said but forgot about other things that make faith work. Another way we can say this is that it's like being stuck in a river with rapids and faced with two options; either you can struggle against the current or ask for help from someone who can guide you safely. Because prayer is a language of the heart, it helps us express our deepest feelings. It is an opportunity to tell God what is on our minds and hearts and ask Him for help. Mark 11:24  Prayer is one of the most fundamental aspects of a Christian's spiritual life. Connecting with God, seeking guidance and understanding, and experiencing a deeper communion with Him are important. However, many of us struggle to pray as we ought to. While we can't always control what happens in our lives, having faith can help us stay centered and feel connected to something larger than ourselves. But how do you increase your faith quotient? Psalm 27:13 provides insight into this question: "I had fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living." In other words, believing in yourself and your abilities is the key to success; without faith, you may find yourself fainting. Increasing your Faith Quotient (FQ) is something we should all desire. We can be more fearless in pursuing our dreams and goals with a high FQ. We can also more easily trust in the Lord during difficult times. We may not see the end result of our efforts, but we can trust that God is working behind the scenes on our behalf. We can be more confident in the

"For you need endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what is promised." Hebrews 10:36  Strengthening faith in God is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of being a Christian. The Bible contains encouraging verses that point to the power and rewards available to those who believe in Him. One such verse is Hebrews 10:36. This passage reflects how strengthening our faith can bring huge benefits from following His path.  Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Strengthen your faith, and you will come out of any test victorious. Strengthened faith in God has many benefits that can positively impact one's life. Here are some practical ways to grow and build your faith during trials:  1. Talk to God. It is often hard to feel close to God when we are going through tough times. When life throws difficult times our way, it can seem like everything is against us. However, testing our faith in God and Christ can help us get through these times more easily. Our faith gives us the strength to carry on, despite the circumstances we may face. We are reminded through scripture that no matter how hard things may get, we are never alone. Testing our faith is the only way we can truly understand its strength. Remember, struggles of faith are common in the Bible, and those who overcome them are commended. Many people faced challenges in their faith and had to rely on God's help to get through them. For example, Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery. As a result, he spent many years in prison unjustly. However, he didn't give up on God. Instead, he trusted Him and

 "By your patient endurance, you will gain your souls." Luke 21:19 Testing your faith is like weightlifting. First, you start with a smaller weight, do reps to build strength, and eventually progress to lifting heavier weights. With each increase in weight, you become stronger and more perseverant. That's why perseverance is an important part of any journey through life, and how we handle the tests of our faith can often determine where that journey takes us. As such, it is essential to understand why and how our faith is tested and what perseverance looks like when it comes to our spiritual lives. Testing our faith is an act of grace from God that allows us to deepen our relationship with Him and grow in understanding His will for us. A test reveals weaknesses and strengths, both spiritually and personally, providing opportunities for growth and development. This process allows us to learn from our mistakes so that we can make better decisions as we advance. Perseverance helps us stay on course no matte

God promises to us that He will always provide us with strength and protection in times of need. He also provides hope, guidance, and assurance in uncertain times.  God's plan is filled with blessings we can never imagine or comprehend. When it comes to the future, many people are unsure about what lies ahead for them – but those who put their trust in God know that no matter what happens, He will always be there to help them through any difficult situation. They don't have to worry about losing anything because they're doing business with an eternal source of

 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not evil, to give you a future and hope." Jeremiah 29:11  No one can predict the future, but we can embrace it with God. Just as we would trust a friend or partner in business, we can trust Him to lead us through whatever comes our way. We can trust that God will be with us whatever the future holds. Sometimes we may feel overwhelmed by what the future may bring. We might be worried about things like job security or the well-being of our loved ones. Additionally, some people find comfort in reading scripture on the topic they are praying about and allowing God's word to guide them toward an answer. The goodness of our Lord transcends traditional notions of happiness, as His goodness brings a sense of peace and contentment that far surpasses what this world has to offer. To truly experience the goodness of our Lord requires us to take time each day to refocus our attention back onto Him and bask in His presence. That's why Psalm 34:8 declares, "Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him." By taking refuge in our Lord, we can receive the blessing of experiencing His goodness. Remember, hearsay knowledge cannot be compared to eyewitness testimonies. Hearsay opens the door to doubt, misperception, faulty memory, ambiguity, and insincerity. In contrast, eyewitnesses shed light and true light only through observation.
