Dean Flemming (Ph.D., University of Aberdeen) is professor of New Testament and missions at MidAmerica Nazarene University in Olathe, Kansas. A missionary educator for more than twenty years, he formerly taught at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary in the Philippines and European Nazarene College in Buesingen, Germany. He has written extensively on the subject of contextualization, as well as the New Beacon Bible Commentary on Philippians. He is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene and has pastored churches in Ohio and Japan.

She has been involved in church planting, community development, and leading nonprofts, all focused around economic and racial reconciliation. Dennae and her husband, Vermon, have four children and have fostered several children and teens over the past decade.

He lived in Tempe for two years, Kosovo for another, and then completed his ASU degree online from Tucson. Staying after graduation was not the plan, but he ended up falling in love with the city. Today he is the Executive Director of Tucson Young Professionals, and hosts a long-running radio show called The Creative City Show on AM1030 The Voice, debating, discussing and envisioning the issues critical to Tucson’s future.
