Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy is set to enter prison for criminal conspiracy over Libyan funding. Sarkozy was convicted in September of criminal conspiracy in what the court heard was a scheme to finance his 2007 presidential campaign with funds from Libya in exchange for diplomatic favors. He will be the first former EU leader to be sent to prison.
