This week, we’re ending our four-part series called Covenant Living. The series has been based on three requests Moses makes while talking to God in Exodus: revelation, habitation and manifestation. These three components form the foundation of what it looks like to live in covenant with Him. As we’ve learned, a covenant is a holy agreement between God and His people. Those of us who have surrendered our lives to Jesus are in covenant with Him, one sealed with the Holy Spirit and bought with the blood that Jesus shed on the cross. As we’ve walked through this series together, one thing has emerged that may be holding us back from heeding the call of God and making the same requests as Moses: fear. We may be sincere about following Jesus and wish to pursue God with all our hearts, but there is fear associated with that pursuit. It may be a fear of losing control, looking foolish or being asked to give up everything. It’s part of our sin nature to run from God, but as we end this se

If we think of our spiritual self as a backpack, today’s verse reassures us that all we need to live a victorious life, we already possess! Praise God that it is sealed inside of us as well! All that we need, all the tools are “in the bag”!

In Exodus 33, we see Moses having a conversation with God after the children of Israel enter into a covenant — or holy agreement — with Him. Two weeks ago, we focused on the first part of this conversation and the first request that Moses made, which demonstrated a desire for a life-changing revelation. This is a key element to covenant living; we have to understand the ways of God, which were shown to us by Jesus’s life on earth. After Moses asks God for revelation, he says, “Let me live in Your presence.” Moses’s second request was for habitation, which is when we begin to develop the character and nature of Jesus in our own lives. When we saturate ourselves with the Spirit of God, He begins to show Himself through us. This week, we’re continuing this conversation by looking at three things the enemy uses to hinder our attempts at pursuing habitation.

God gives us the power to get wealth so that His covenant may be established in the earth. He then observes how we handle that wealth. If we are faithful, He imparts to us the true riches of Heaven. This is the outpouring of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. www.kingdomrock.org

This promise has been most evident in the pro-life line of work I am in. Our team at pregnancy resource center has experienced time and time again the attacks of the enemy on this very important work of caring for mommas and seeing babies saved from the horrors of abortions. Whether that’s internal attacks in our own camp or external attacks, God comes through every time.

This series deals with the power of Jesus Christ to save the lost and teach the found. God has grace for all those who call on His name.

Last week, we started a series called the Covenant Living Series. We talked about how Jesus fulfilled the old covenant and established a new covenant, in which He was the sacrifice and His blood paid the price. As we learned, a covenant is a holy agreement between God and His people, and in Exodus 33, we read about what happened following the covenant that God entered into with the people of Israel. For the first part of our series, we talked about revelation. Covenant living begins with a revelation of who Jesus really is, seeing the ways of God and accepting the invitation to enter into a relationship and covenant with Him. This week, we're going to talk about the next aspect of covenant living: habitation. Together, we will explore what it is, what it means and what might be preventing it from happening in our lives.

As we continue with God’s promises, this is one that I have heard all my life, but He has just recently shone new light and application for me. This promise in my life has been super practical and holds a measure of accountability for me. I pray this verse often.
