I'm excited to share a message with you that I spoke at One Church in our Selfless series. Over the past month we have been focusing on how to be more selfless in the new year. Today, we are focusing on the story of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4 and how Cain's problem wasn't really about Abel but more about himself. Cain focused on comparison, anger, unforgiveness, and pride which led to his resentment for his brother. With the Holiday season, you have probably seen a lot of snow globes around and chances are you've picked one up and shook it around! I think that we can learn a lot from how snow globes work and how a snow globe perspective can give us a spiritual lesson and change the way we see our life! In Galatians 1:15-16 the Bible tells us, But when He, Who had chosen and set me apart [even] before I was born and had called me by His grace (His undeserved favor and blessing), saw fit and was please to reveal (unveil, disclose) His Son within me so that I might proclaim Him among the Gentiles (the non-Jewish world) as the glad tidings (Gospel), immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood [did not consult or counsel with any frail human being or communicate with anyone].
