Jim Shockey is arguably the most well-known ambassador of the hunting and outdoor community. While he was down at Cottonmouth hunting with us, Jim and Lake sat down to talk about his hunting experiences from that week, his thoughts on how to deal with hate from anti-hunters, and the future of hunting and how we can help protect it.

Hannah Barron is a hunter and all around outdoors enthusiast that is quickly becoming one of the most well-known females within the hunting and fishing community. We got the chance to talk with Hannah to learn more about her background, how she deals with constant hate from anti-hunters, and how important it is to her to promote this lifestyle that she loves so much to others.

Eva Shockey is one of the biggest and most-well known faces in the hunting community. She is known for her unabashed love of the outdoors, her family, and portraying the hunting lifestyle in a positive way. During her recent hunting trip to Cottonmouth, we sat down with her to talk about her experiences deer hunting with us on the MS River, her opinions on the future of hunting, and how important it is for all hunters to represent it in the right way.

If a full-sized school bus transformed into a fully functional mobile hunting camp, all to help raise awareness about our public lands doesn’t catch your attention, I don’t know what will! Sam Soholt is a very talented photographer in the hunting industry.  A passionate spokesperson for our country’s public lands, and owner of the public lands bus. We sat down to talk with Sam about what motivated him to start this campaign for keeping public lands in public hands and what we all could do to help further the cause!

Jordan Blissett has been on a hot streak as the lucky camera man this year, filming more kills than anyone in the entire crew so far. He and Lake sit down to talk about his most recent hunts spent with Jimmy and Troy. They also talk about good setups for hunting the rut in the south and a creative way to find new spots to hunt!

Brad Farris had a week full of ups and downs! Going from having to pass on one of the biggest deer he’s ever seen on Cottonmouth due to a camera malfunction to killing two great bucks on back-to-back days, it turned into a week worth hearing about!!

Last week was an incredible time in the deer woods at Cottonmouth!! We were able to kill 3 bucks in 3 days!!! Lake Pickle and Troy Ruiz sit down to dissect each hunt, and go over each and every detail to what made each of them successful!!

Brad Farris and Lake continue their hunt for the biggest deer on Cottonmouth that they call “Rocker”, and it seems like they are closer to getting him now than ever before!! They also talk about current deer activity, different strategies they have tried this season to make the whole team more successful, and how the woods are starting to change as a result of being right on the fringes of the rut!!

Lake sits down to catch up with Troy Ruiz and Jordan Blissett to get caught up on all the success they had while he and Brad were elk hunting out west. They talk about ways to still find success during the dreaded “lull” period of the season, current deer patterns they are seeing at Cottonmouth, and Lake tells about how he and Brad snuck in a little TOO CLOSE to the biggest deer on the whole property!!!

Brad Farris has waited 19 years to finally draw a tag for a public land elk hunt in Nevada. After a 3 day adventure spent hiking, glassing, and killing a great bull, Brad and Lake sit down to discuss the ins and outs of the hunt, what made them successful, and all the cutting-up and fun that happened along the way!

Lake Pickle and Jordan Blissett have experienced the current action from Cottonmouth first-hand. They sit down to discuss successful hunts, what made those hunts work, and a few funny mishaps in camp that happened along the way!!

Every whitetail hunter in the Midwest dreams about the month of November, and there are fewer things more exciting than calling a buck into bow range!! We sit down to discuss anything and everything involving calling in whitetails. We talk Timing, tips and tactics, stand setups specifically for calling, what has worked for us in the past, as well as our own mistakes. We cover it all!!

Will and Lake sit down to discuss the deer hunting action from the first week back at Cottonmouth, and also answer some of the questions sent in from listeners.

Lake, Jordan, and Troy sit down to go through the questions sent in pertaining to early season whitetail strategies and archery! They also talk about their upcoming first trip to Cottonmouth for this season and the strategies they will be using to be successful!

Brad and Lake sit down to discuss their most recent Elk hunt in the Davis Mountains of West Texas! We talk about the history of elk in that area, dissect the hunts we had, and the calling types that made them successful. Brad also gives tips on how to get drawn back on an elk without getting spotted.

Cuz has been dear friend of Primos since the very beginning! This year, he tagged along with us for an elk rifle hunt in New Mexico. While in camp, we got to sit down for a few minutes with him to share a few old stories, talk about his elk hunt, and hear his views on the future of hunting.  

For those of us who love chasing Elk, September is sacred. The 2017 season was one to remember, from Will’s largest bull, to Lake’s first elk with a bow. We talk about the good, bad and ugly while explaining what made us successful!
