If you work in the wedding or events industry, it’s safe to say you know just how important getting published is. It allows for your work to get exposure and for your name to get out there into the world. 95% of couples use blogs and magazines to plan their wedding, and publications are the way to get in front of those couples. But the process can be daunting—and not to mention time consuming. Davey Jones is a brand and content strategist. He is one half of the Davey and Krista team. He is the cofounder of the Rising Tide Society, wedding photographer, and former English teacher. It’s absolutely crazy to think that we have made it through 50 episodes of Mistakes Make Magic. Since, we began the podcast concept, recordings, interviews and vision has grown and evolved! It has challenged me in ways that I didn’t expect, become a tool for helping others, and even served as a means for personal growth. Sara Yamtich is an ads strategist with soul and purpose! With a degree in Anthropology, she has an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit and now uses her own business to helping others market theirs! She previously worked as an ads manager for a rapidly growing 6-figure digital marketing agency. Since, she has started her own mission-aligned agency, Resonate with Sara, where she works to amplify the impact of people doing good work in the world with Facebook and Instagram ads.

Chanti Zak loves yoga and chai tea but is known for her funnel strategies and quiz and copywriting skills. She is a successful entrepreneur, mother, and Canadian that has been featured in Huffington Post, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan and more. After moving from blogging, she is now leading clients into high value conversions for their online marketing. 

So I’m going to talk about some of the mistakes that I’ve made and some of the things that I’ve learned about being the breadwinner in our relationship. I want to thank Brad for allowing me to put together this podcast episode. We talked through this episode before launching and I appreciate that he has allowed me to share this information so that I can help other people. I feel like this content is super important and needs to be shared.
