Is God Violent, Loving or Both?
16/01/2011Anyone who reads the bible finds many disturbing passages in the Old Testament where God is portrayed as being violent. This disturbs many of us because it does not jive with what Jesus teaches. The issue here of how we understand God is so important because it translates into how we live out our lives. If God is violent there are implications and if God is love there are implications.
