Dearest Felicity,    The howling grows louder each night. I've bolted the door against the night, but can take no comfort. I hear it jabbering incoherently at the windows. Its foul stench lies heavily over the kennels. It's a thing of slime, I'm sure of it. Shadows and slime. It shall come for me again tonight. Perhaps I shall not wake when it finds me.
