Are you living an abundant life? On Tuesday, Pastor Chad Glover taught on How to Have Abundant Life. John 10:10 shows us that the devil is a thief, and his plan is to kill, steal, and to destroy the life God calls us to live, but Jesus has come to bring us life and to have it abundantly. The enemy is out to steal our attention to corrupt our minds, our affection to God, our identity, and our purpose. What is the enemy trying to steal from you? How is he trying to do it? God’s purpose for each of us is to know him personally, to save us from us from our sin, and to use us to build his kingdom. Are you trying to uphold the appearance of living a good life, while spiritually dead on the inside? There is a difference between truly living and merely existing. So, how can you live the abundant life? Abundant life is the obedient life– to walk out your faith and trust in God through asking forgiveness of your sin, living in freedom of sin, cultivating a relationship with Jesus, and living on mission for Jesus. True friendship is more than companionship; it’s made up of selflessness, sacrifice, and security. Like Jonathan and David, true friends lay down their lives for each other, stand side by side in every season, and offer a seat at the table despite the challenges. What are we going to do when we get to heaven? How will things we experience in life now compare to what we experience then? Last night, we looked at these things through the lens of Psalm 16:11, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." We looked at how work and rest, relationships, emotions, entertainment, and worship will all be different in Heaven. These things occupy our time here on Earth, but each will be the most satisfying in the place that the Lord is preparing for us. We will never be able to fill any void with anything but the Lord's presence; there we will find true joy and pleasure. "But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"- these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. Hell is a topic many people have misconceptions about. What is it exactly? It is an eternal separation from God and Jesus made teaching about hell a priority. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). We are all filled with sin, but those who build their identities on anything other than Jesus Christ will only be disappointed with the result, here on earth and all of eternity. What cross are you on? Jonathan Clark continued our Paradise series last night, where we look at the two men who were crucified and the left and right of Jesus while Jesus was on the cross. The man on Jesus's left mocked Him alongside the crowd, but the man on the right saw that something was different about Jesus, so he asked, "Will you remember me?". Jesus responded, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:39-43) Are you on the cross of revolving sin and anguish? Where you try to solve your problems on your own, but you can't seem to change? Or are you on the cross of salvation, where you recognize your need of a Savior? Jesus IS that Savior. We can trust Him with our lives that His life and His works are what saves us and gets us into heaven. You can be on the cross of salvation today! What is heaven like? Are there pearly gates? What do we do in heaven? We've all asked these questions before and have had our own ideas about what heaven is like, but what is it REALLY like? Last night, Jonathan Clark kicked off our new series, "Paradise," to jump head-first into the book of Revelation to see what it has to say about what heaven is like. Here's 5 truths about heaven that will change your life: 1. Heaven is physically new (Rev 21:1) Heaven is a physical place, not clouds in the sky. 2. Heaven is prepared (Rev 21:2) God knows all of us better than we know ourselves, and the Lord has prepared heaven, especially for YOU. 3. Heaven is the place of God's presence (Rev 21:3) Heaven will NOT be boring. We will be in the very PRESENCE of God. 4. Heaven is a place of healing (Rev 21:4) In heaven, there's no heartache, no pain, no disease, no sin. God will be there to wipe the tears from our eyes because He loves us. 5. Heaven is our home (Rev 21:5-7) Heaven is not just God's home, it's OURS as well. We

On Tuesday, we were reminded that when faced with legitimate needs, our response should be rooted in honest prayer and unwavering trust in God’s provision. 1 Corinthians 10:4 teaches us that even in our moments of desperation, God’s grace abounds. Remember, God’s love and provision are steadfast in every circumstance.

A life spent pursuing Christ is a life that is walking in freedom from our trauma, our past, and our sin. Last night, Pastor Jon continued our Waterproof series, telling the story of how God made a way for freedom for Moses and the Israelites by splitting the Red Sea later leading into the Promise Land, and escaping the pursuing Egyptians. What can we learn from this story? Maybe, for example, you’re currently living a life of singleness. The FACT that you’re single may lead you to FANTASIZE about the marriage you desire and cause you to FORGET the promises of contentment from God, leading to FEAR about never being happy or satisfied without a spouse, finally leading to the BONDAGE of sin. Facts - Fantasy - Forget - Fear - Bondage God paves the way towards true freedom through the life, death, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ and a relationship with Him. We only have to realize that God is worthy of our trust. God will lead us out of captivity and into freedom!

This Tuesday we started a new series titled: Waterproof. This week talked about trusting God with your future. Do you trust God's plan for your life? Are you doing what you can do, and then ultimately trusting God for what only He can do? We learned that there is a very real enemy who would love to undo God's plan for your life, that trusting God's plan isn't passive, but active, and that our future with God is SO much better than a future without Him. Still thinking about last Tuesday

How do we make Christ known to others? 1. Become a new creation. 2. Understand the ministry of reconciliation. 3. Representing Jesus. Last night we studied 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. To make Christ known, we must first have to be made a new creation. If you are in Christ, you have been made new, and you have a ministry that He has called you to. If you know Christ, do you know how to help others reconcile their relationship with God? The only two things that will last forever are the Word of God and the souls of men. As Christians, we are Christ’s ambassadors, representing Him and His kingdom. God has chosen and called us to deliver His message, the Gospel. This week, we challenge you to share your faith with others and make Him known.

Last night we kicked off our new, self-titled series: Parad1Gm. We want to be a ministry marked by knowing Christ and making Him known to others. Last night we looked at John 17:1-5 and learned how knowing Christ is connected with eternity. “Eternal” carries the idea of quality as well as quantity, and eternal life can start today. Only knowing God brings deep soul satisfaction, and will allow you to be immersed in eternal life. Church attendance, baptism, being a good person, and being religious are good things, but they won’t give you eternal life as only knowing Jesus can. Do you know Christ? Do you know him deeply and intimately? Reflect on these things this week, and come back next Tuesday for part 2! Have a great week, Paradigm

Wrapping up our series in Numbers Pastor Jon led us through what it means to embrace living in submission to God.

This week we continue in the Numbers series!

Last night we dug into what faith really means, found in Hebrews 11. We learned that faith is obediently following God’s Word, regardless of our feelings, knowing that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Why is faith essential? It pleases God, brings salvation, and overcomes the world. To grow our faith, we’re encouraged to dive into God’s Word, share our stories boldly, and walk closely with Him every day. We all have some kind of faith. What are you putting your faith in?

Tuesday night we continued our Numbers series by looking at doubt. Here are a few takeaways: 1. Doubt undermines God’s promises, and is the lack of confidence or assurance that He will keep them. 2. What is inside you will eventually come out. Let confidence, trust, and faith spill out of you instead of doubt. 3. Doubt sees obstacles. What obstacle seems so gigantic to where you’re having a hard time believing God can move in that situation? 4. Doubt is contagious. Why? It’s easy, safe, and popular. 5. Doubt leads to despair, and despair impairs your ability to make rational decisions. Desperate plans come from despairing hearts. Where are you doubting? Doubt is what separates us from our Heavenly Father.
