We're a bit late this week because it was the midterms in the US! We ramble a bit about voting and the rise of political superhero shows before diving into the meat and potatoes of our podcast. Our team's fourth season has hit full steam and we're here to talk about an overwhelming seven different superhero shows! This episode went on a bit long, we're sorry about that, and we're going to be setting a timer next week to make sure we get through it in a reasonable fashion. Venom is a meandering movie that often doesn't seem to know the story it wants to tell, full of a cast that appears confused about why they're here and.....we all loved it! Come listen to the Bam Pow team talk about why everything was stacked against Sony's new Spider-Man movie (hold the Spider-Man) yet it ended up being a very fun film to watch.

What happens when you try and get out from under Batman's shadow? Apparently a grim and gritty yet somehow rather intriguing pilot of Titans (s01e01). Come listen to our thoughts on it and why it's overall better than we'd expected, plus our usual staple shows with The Gifted (s02e03), The Flash (s05e02) and Black Lightning (s02e02).

CW's fall line up kicked off so the Bam Pow team is back with our fourth season of recapping and reviewing all your favorite superhero shows! We're finishing up Wynonna's (s03e11/12) run, and watching the first two of The Gifted (s02e01/02), plus we have The Flash (s05e01), Supergirl (s04e01), Black Lightning (s02e01), and back due to popular demand, Arrow! (s07e01). A lot of these shows are getting more political and have a message to say, and we dig into how each of them approaches it, and how well they hit (or miss) their mark. So tune in, kick back, and lets get meta!

After way longer than it should have taken us, we wrap up Luke Cage (s02e12/13) this week and while you'll have to listen to get all our thoughts on it, spoilers: we dug it! We also have Wynonna (s03e10) wandering off into full bonkersville, and some back to back cartoon greatness with Young Justice (s02e03) and Earth's Mightiest Heroes (s01e20). Come check it all out!

It's a Power Man double feature as we sprint toward the end of Luke Cage (s02e10-11)and dang, Mariah is spiraling out of control. Also, after waaaay too long, Danny Rand is here and we're happy to find him a delight! Wynonna Earp (s03e09) catches us in a time loop episode and it's pretty rough to see what they're drug through. Over on the cartoon side, Young Justice (s02e02) continues to wow us, and last but not least Monica is here with the Preacher report (s03e07) and in a shocking twist, that show sounds completely bonkers still.

It's apparently New Stuff Week and we're diving in! Join us as we talk about CW Seed's very brief Constantine (s01e01-05) series, which really could use the back half of the season, plus we're back to watching one of Kenneth's favorite shows ever, Young Justice! (s02e01). We're muscling through Luke Cage (s02e09) and also checking out Iron Fist's (s02e01) premier and last but never ever least, a double header of Wynonna Earp (s03e07/08) as we catch up from our out of town week hiatus!

Bam Pow's third season is quickly wrapping up and it's almost fall TV time again! We're here talking about Jessica Jones (s02e13)'s last episode plus our thoughts on the season as a whole, then it's over to Luke Cage (s02e08) where we continue the discussion on why Netflix should either write shorter seasons or borrow SHIELD's story arc ideas. Seriously, Netflix, call us we have great ideas! On the more magical side of the show, it's as always Earp O'Clock (Wynonna Earp s03e06) and it's apparently Christmas in August. Last but never least, Monica regales us with Preacher (s03e06) has pretty much turned into the Cassidy show and she's digging it! All this plus starting next week we're diving back into Young Justice and Earth's Mightiest Heroes since our show load is lightening up.

Our summer season is winding down as we bid a fond farewell to Cloak & Dagger's (s01e10) first season. Jessica Jones (s02e12) is on it's penultimate episode, and even Luke Cage (s02e07) and Wynonna Earp (s03e05) are blowing by quicker than we'd like. Before we know it, fall tv is going to be back in our eyes!

It's been a rough week in fandom as Ruby Rose and Grant Gustin have both faced some pretty terrible backlash from disgruntled fans who can't tell the difference between giving feedback and being a bully. We thought this would be a quick topic for us but it really got under our skin and we ended up talking about fandom, expectations, and entitlement for a decent chunk. If that doesn't interest you or sounds stressful, our Luke Cage coverage starts at 12:45! On the shows side of things, Luke Cage (s02e06) feels like it's in a transition to the second half of the show and we're interested to see where they're taking it. Jessica Jones (s02e11) is winding down and we're getting wound up! Then, over on Wynonna Earp, (s03e04) we continue to deal with the Dolls fallout, while also throwing some mom and demon issues into the mix. On the single recap side of things, B filled us in on Cloak & Dagger's (s01e09) penultimate episode and it sounds like everything is going to basically blow up next week. Last but not least

It's a week of sadness across our shows (except for Preacher (s03e04) which is, as always, pretty bonkers) and we're here to talk about our feelings! We have the Netflix duo of Luke Cage (s02e05) and Jessica Jones (s02e09) and they're both having a rough time of it. Over on Wynonna (s03e03) everyone, including us, is not dealing well with the fallout from the end of episode 2, and Cloak & Dagger (s01e08) starts off hopefully but quickly pulls the rug out from under us.

We're two episodes into Wynonna Earp (s03e02) and things are getting shook! What the heck does the rest of this season have in store if this is how they start out??? We're also continuing our run through Netflix's Luke Cage (s02e04)and Jessica Jones (s02e09) and we're having trouble not watching ahead on them both! Last but never least Monica recaps Preacher (s03e03)and B recaps Cloak & Dagger (s01e07) for us!

The bonanza that is San Diego Comic Con has come and gone and as always, there was a massive drop of trailers for all our favorite (and Arrow) shows and movies coming out. Come listen in as the gang talks about everything comic books on the teevees and big screen!

We're off to Louisiana in Preacher (s03e01)'s seasonal kickoff and things are already getting strange again for Jesse. We also have Luke Cage (s02e02) heating up as he and Claire wrestle with the price of being Harlem's Hero, and Jessica Jones (s02e07) gives us a flashback episode showing what her mom's been up to for the last couple of decades. Lastly, Cloak & Dagger (s01e05) further explores Tandy and Tyrone's powers and the connection they share!

After our brief hiatus last week we have a jam packed episode for you; instead of witty comments here we're just going to list all the shows that will be entering your ears! Supergirl (s03e21/22), Krypton (s01e09/10), Jessica Jones (s02e04/05), and the all new Cloak & Dagger (s01e01-03). Come check it out!

Frank's riding the pain train in this week's Punisher (s01e12) and we all realize we each have different 'oh no that's too gross' things. Supergirl (s03e20) is rolling toward the season finale but all we can care about is watching more Krypton (s01e08) which never bodes well for a show. Last but never least, Jessica Jones (s02e03) delves deeper into her origin story mystery and we're digging it!

We're speeding through the Beeboverse as The Flash (s04e23) hits it's season finale. Who was right or wrong about Nora and just how much she loves the time stream. We also have Supergirl's (s03e19) Reign of terror and Krypton (s01e07) further exploring Braniac's power. Last but not least, since our schedule has opened up a bit, we see the triumphant return of both The Punisher (s01e11) and Jessica Jones (s02e02)!

Supergirl (s03e18) and Krypton (s01e07) are cruising along, and the Flash (s04e22) hits it's penultimate episode, and those are all gravy. Big waves are happening though as we decide after Legion (s02e07) that it's just gotten to avent garde for us and we're going to take a break from it. Plus...PLUS! Agents of SHIELD's (s05e22) season (and almost series) finale just wrecks us. Come listen to all our thoughts and ideas for these shows and more!
