Because Jesus came the first time, we are even more sure of the hope that he will come again!

The longer you walk with the Lord, the more you will see this world has nothing eternal to offer. So now is the time to give up control. Now is the time to grasp the love of Jesus and move toward the fullness of God. But God, who raises the dead, is able to do all of these things and even more—so you must desperately pray and die to yourself.

God’s eternal purpose was fulfilled in the person and work of Jesus and forevermore God’s glory will be on display in all the world through the church. Because of the gospel, we’ve been let into the mystery of His glory and we don’t have to tip toe in. We can run with boldness, confidence, and full on access to the Glory of God knowing that we will never be rejected by Him because of the cross and because Jesus is our high priest.

Brent Thomas in the series, Riches In Christ! Ephesians 2:19-22—We are welcomed into a new home built on a firm foundation to be completed as God’s future dwelling place. Brothers and sisters in Christ—you are a part of something much bigger than yourself. And there is something that happens when the people of God gather together that cannot happen by yourself. God’s desire is that we would be joined together and that would be built together into a dwelling place for God. And this is not a one time occurrence. It is a continually process of “being built” as we find in Ephesians 2.

As disciples of Jesus, we have all been guilty of being far off. And yet through the gospel of peace we are brought into a body that gives us access to the Creator of the universe! The peace of God given through the gospel brings unity. The greatest external expression of the inward transformation that has happened in the life of a disciple is being able to showcase God’s peace and our unity to a world in need.

Grace is a gift of God to the walking dead, to live eternally through faith and walk in good works instead. Many want the benefits of grace, without walking by faith in the finished work of Christ at the cross. Saving faith is recognizing there is nothing we can do, but believe in what God has already done through Jesus. You have been re-created and made a masterpiece for a purpose, to take hold of your positional perfection in Christ and walk in good works.

Micah Klutinoty in the series, Riches In Christ! Ephesians 1:15-23—Perhaps the two most important weapons that the believer has, besides the Word of God, are worship and prayer. It is my prayer that we would have a conscious, experiential knowledge of God’s power here and now. That we might have a faith worth hearing about, that we might actually stand against sin, that we might be strong in the Lord. The power to live this way is available and this power is accessed through prayer!
