In this episode we are joined by a brand-new co-host. We talk a lot about the Olympics and discuss several sports from the past that we think should or shouldn't be brought back. We fall down a Metallica naming baby hole and come up with some creative album baby names. Leigh is back from vacation and we're all about fishing, not catfishing, actual fishing. Even though we are a beer show we're all about all kinds of alcohol, including Lexington's new craft sake brewery. GBS recommends a new Netflix show about the history of gaming. We discuss what went wrong with England losing in the Euro and talk Scripps Howard spelling bee. News of the Weird has a brand-new way to consume alcohol and baby metal names, hotdogs, and buns, cutting the cheese, hockey ice beer and the final frontier round out Take It or Leave It.

In this episode Sarah from Hungry in Kentucky comes off the bench to fill in for Leigh. We discuss the art of zenquitting social media and talk about our top three movies we could act out if we were stranded on a desert island. Tour de France, hot dog eating contest and more NIL discussion in sports. The News of the Weird becomes a cautionary tale of why you shouldn't stick things up your nose. We come up with a hot new original idea for a tv show in Take It or Leave It.

In this episode we get excited about craft beer festivals coming back and our past experiences with them. We revisit the Mall Hole with another story about someone getting their head stuck in a fence. A fan gone wild at the Tour de France who clearly wasn't paying attention and caused riders to pay a price. More NIL talk as more information comes out from states and the NCAA. The U.S. Open starts our sports discussion and we talk extensively about the SOCTUS ruling against the NCAA and what that might mean for student athletes making money in the future, including international athletes. In this episode we come right out of the gate with the hard-hitting topic about whether saying you're welcome is still a thing. Leigh is finally back in the studio with us in this episode. It's rain forest weather time in the bluegrass and that leads to a conversation about showering. We talk Belmont and Baffert along with Coach K retirement. We open up the Duly Noted Nook for some Penguins front office and Carrie throws her name into the ring to be the next Tottenham manager. Lots of WCWS talk in this one as Leigh drops a lot of softball knowledge. No Leigh for this aptly titled episode, but we do have guest co-host utility Kyle filling in, it is his studio. Carrie is happy no one at the table knows what a Bosco stick is. We talk the Preakness and the food named horse that didn't get enough love. Carrie falls down a Queen of England hole thanks to Kyle. News of the Weird talks backwards and everyone has lots to say about Take It or Leave It topics. Also, we introduce a new show segment.

It's been over a year, but we are all finally together in the same room for this episode. We revisit the NFL Draft kind of based on hats and talk a lot about the Kentucky Derby controversy. We talk some beach volleyball and talk about the fact that there is a University in Kentucky that has a beach volleyball team. What's the Spring League you ask, well it has to do with football, but you'll have to listen to find out more. A carrier for live fish in the News of the Weird. Football and tv shows round out Take It or Leave It.

More fun than you can shake a peep at in this episode. We re-cap the Kentucky Derby sort of and tell you about someone who is known as mattress mike. If you are in the Houston area and need furniture, he's someone you should know. We even tell you who won the Kentucky Turtle Derby. We talk about the NFL draft without all the statics, but Leigh and Carrie do talk about what grade they give their respective teams. In this episode Lauren and Carrie are joined by our number one guest co-host off the bench, Sara from Hungry in Kentucky. We talk again about how Baseball never forgets and how the Astros are feeling that. We're glad that the NCAA tournament made it but two of us really didn't bother to watch. In this episode Lauren and Leigh are back in their respective places and we are joined by the newest member of the four peat guestomer club our boy from Brooklyn Gary Morgenstein. We talk to Gary about how things have been in New York and all about the follow up book to Mound over Hell, a Fast Ball for Freedom. We discuss the book and his writing process and the book in general. We also talk about his other project a show produced on Zoom called Joyland which is available for free on YouTube. We also talk what this baseball season holds and get Gary's opinion on how he thinks the season will play out. No News of the Weird in this one but we've got several RIPs and end with some food and movie Take It or Leave It.

We may have lost the bet but had a lot of fun recording this one.
