This week on the High Hopes: Eagles Minor League Rundown we talked with Gaylon White, author of Left on Base in the Bush Leagues: Legends, Near Greats, and Unknowns in the Minors talking about some of the most fascinating characters from baseball’s golden era that made their name in the Minors.

We were all over the sports map today talking Eagles pre-season and NFL News, Phillies baseball, and some soccer too with guest Philadelphia Union Striker Kacper Przybylko.

The High Hopes: Phillies Minor League Rundown was at the NY Penn League All Star game last night in Staten Island and talked with Williamsport Crosscutters Baseball All Stars Logan O’Hoppe, Kendall Simmons and Bryson Stott.

The Heart of Sports was at Temple Football Media day to talk to new coach Rod Carey and players before the upcoming season.

We were back out in Baseballtown and got interviews with Fightins Catch Jack Conley and trailblazing broadcaster Kirsten Karbach.

It was a jam packed Heart of Sports including recapping the Eagles first preseason game and talked some football with former Eagle William Thomas and finally we tracked down Ironpigs GM Kurt Landes to get the story behind the "Ironpugs"

High Hopes was out at Baseballtown earlier this week as the Reading Fightins continued their hot streak and we sat down with P Colton Eastman and OF Josh Stephen.

Women's World Cup Champion Julie Ertz joined the show this week to talk about winning the latest world title, blazing a trail for women in sports and having bragging rights in number of titles at home. Then Travis Hollman talked about the future of locker rooms and the unbelievable arms race of technological advances provide athletes with the best facilities.
