A branch breaks off of a tree and unplugs the cable running from the clocktower to the street, forcing Doc and Marty to formulate a plan of action to fix the problem as quickly as possible.

Doc tells Marty that everything will be fine, but finds the letter that Marty wrote to him about the future and refuses to accept the responsibility.

Doc sets Marty’s destination time to the same time he left, and then tells him exactly when to hit the gas.

Marty is late to meet Doc at the clock tower because he had to change out that zoot suit.

Marty meets Lorraine and George off stage to wish them well and say goodbye.
