Paul David Sanders was a 17 year old from Mesa, AZ. He was originally from Missouri and very athletic. On August 14, 2001, someone—the person may or may not have been Paul—driving Paul’s truck was pulled over by law enforcement in Tucson. A chase ensued in which the driver escaped. The truck was later found wrecked several miles away with no signs of Paul. Christian Balke-Thompson was a 26 year old from Farnhamville, IA. He was a skateboarder and the father of two. In the early morning hours of May 3, 2020, Christian was seen at a convenience store with a female friend. 36 hours later Christian’s car was found on fire at a farm.
