This week, we review “Distant Origin,” discuss its, ahem, origins from rough concept to final episode, and eulogize a Redshirt with ties to this fan-favorite episode. We also break down the pros of Alex Kurtzman’s newly extended tenure overseeing the Final Frontier and what’s up with that Worf comedy show pitch.
