Yes, I just got vaccinated - and I got the AstraZeneca vaccine. This Covid pandemic has a lot going on, causing people to fret about their health and lives. I am no different. I am going to reveal to you guys the secret to pronouncing the L and R sounds! For many learners of the English language, the consonant L and R sounds are often mispronounced - and even interchanged! In today's lesson, I will first teach you how to say the consonant L sound. Followed by telling you how to say the consonant R sound. Note that this is the rhotic Australian R sound - quite tricky! We will then have a comparative pronunciation exercise. We will say the words in pairs, like 'pray' and 'play'.
