We switch gears this week to a musical, Bob Fosse's 1979 semi-autobiographical film staring Roy Scheider, Jessica Lange, Leland Palmer and Ann Reinking. The story follows Broadway choreographer and director Joe Gideon in the oddest story of all, his life. The film's masterful editing has been written about time after time and the film was nominated and won a few Academy Awards. It's another comedy this week as Michael and Frank talk about the Academy Award nominated film and AFI's 69th best movie of all time, Tootsie. John Rambo, Sylvester Stallone, returned one last time in 2008's 'Rambo.' Now living in Thailand as a snake wrangler Rambo is hired by a group of missionaries led by Julie Benz and Paul Schulze to bring them into Burma where they plan on helping the locals who suffer under a genocide. But things go south and Rambo is forced to go to war one last time. Michael Sheridan and Frank Posillico are joined this week by Daily News Entertainment Reporter Meera Jagannathan, a Rambo newbie. Rambo is back for a third adventure of violence and mayhem in 'Rambo III' where John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) goes on a reluctant mission in Afghanistan to save Colonel Sam Trautman (Richard Crenna) who's been taken prisoner by the Russians in a Soviet takeover of Afghanistan. The 1985 sequel in a way redefined the character of John Rambo, the troubled Vietnam vet, who this time goes back into the jungle to find and rescue several POW.
