In the beginning, God created family! God saw that is was not good for man to be alone and create woman—knowing that unity and communion with others was vital. Family is what helps us in our weaknesses, in our troubles, and in low places of our life. Family speaks to who we're suppose to be and excepts us for who are today.

In Mark 5, we see the ruler of the synagogue, Jairus, come to Jesus and desperately ask Him to heal his daughter who's extremely sick. Jairus give us a picture of how we are suppose to lead our homes—by coming to Jesus and allowing him to bring peace in our homes. Follow along with Pastor Kevin as he share on how to order our family in a way that allows God to bless our households.

What you imaging when you see God in heaven as a father? Is He looking at you with His arms crossed? Or is He staring at you with love in His eyes? Follow with Pastor Kevin as we begin our series, "Welcome Home," and hear God's heart for us through the story of the prodigal son.

Perfect love drives out fear. When the love of God fills you up, then fear and depression cannot reside in your heart. Love that doesn’t do anything is not love at all. Love that is nothing more than words… is nothing. Love requires actions, requires you to do something. In John 3:16, we see love in motion, "For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His only Son." Love is always a choice. Follow with Pastor Kevin as he illustrate the depths of God's love.

When you picture "Father God," do you see somebody angry with you, or someone pursuing you. When we look at Jesus' life, we Him pursuing those who others believed didn't deserve love—like the demon possessed man in Mark 5. God's love is pursuing you and desire to see you whole and healed—not in bondages. Listen as Pastor Kevin shares on how God's love is transforming.

In the midst of shootings, hatred, and depression, our world desperately needs the love of God. We see in the story of the crippled man at the pool of Bethesda, Jesus instantly heals the man of 38 years and tells the man to "Get up, take your mat and you will walk!" As the man does, the religious leader at the time ridiculed the man for carrying his mat on the sabbath. Follow along with Pastor Kevin and he paints the picture of how good God's love is, and how it's a list of rules but an invitation to celebrate life!

Family is important to us, we excited to host a Kidz Connect family service where we see what they kids accomplished through Kidz Jam week, and here from our children's pastor, Pastor Andrea Bassett. Listen as Andrea teaches on the importance and power of kindness and love in today's society. How the simply choice to not react and get bitter can break up dissension and promote Christ character to our neighbors around us.

When Peter denied Jesus before He was crucified, Jesus came back to him and reconciled Peter back to love over a table with a coal fire and fish. This is the Christian life—reconciling people back to Christ and treating them with honor. As believers, we can walk confidently knowing that God has paid the price of sin and has granted us freedom. We see in Roman 8, Paul share that there is NO condemnation, no criticism, no disapproval for those who are in Christ.

"The grace that saves you is the same grace that sustains you." No one can save themselves from the tangle of sin. Only Jesus can! Follow along with Pastor Kevin as he shares how to live against the current of the law and sin and live for Christ and grace.
