Although it didn't make our Top 5 of chick flicks (which is totally in this episode by the way), The Adjustment Bureau is a sci-fi/romance flick that we were tasked with reviewing this week! Starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt, among other recognizable faces, this film features a very interesting theme and story. We think it might even be better than the story the movie told. October is finally over, and we are finally done with our month of Halloween/horror films! That's why we're bringing you a review of Dredd! This 80s reboot stars Karl Urban and Cersei Lannister, and is action-packed from start to finish. Tons and tons of digressions, as usual, but we love this episode nonetheless. That's why we didn't review that crappy Rob Zombie Halloween, and we decided to go old-school and do John Carpenter's Halloween. Michael Myers makes his debut in this haunting horror! Starring Bette Midler, SJP, Kathy Najimy, and a bunch of other people that were most likely in Disney Channel Original Movies, Hocus Pocus brings to life a story of three witches who were brought back to life on Halloween. In what we classify as the best of the bad horror flicks, The Strangers is an interesting film. It brings in almost every horror trope in the book, and yet we liked it for the most part. This week we reviewed one of the most recognized films in all of cinema, The Shining. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, The Shining brings you a slow-paced horror that has some truly shocking elements, and exceptional attention to detail. All of this is fine and dandy, however, we may have rated it as others might've anticipated. I guess you'll have to listen to the entire episode to figure things out!

A film that none of us likely would have never seen before, Suspiria. Directed by Dario Argento, this 1970s mystery-horror brings a series of strange murders and mystical feelings to a ballet school. It is up to the lead, Suzy to discover exactly what is going on. We dive deep into this film, and tell you exactly how good or bad it really is. We hit the ground running with this episode! Right off the top we preface it with, Mindhunters is not a good film, which saves anyone time from taking this episode too seriously... which is exactly what Mindhunters did. Although it may not be good or perfect, this film brings together a bad cast and poor directing. So it's a hot mess.. maybe in a good way? To kick off an entire month of horror films, we decided to start with one of the best, John Carpenter's The Thing. Unlike many new horror movies, The Thing builds suspense, and doesn't rely on cheap jump-scare tactics. Starring Kurt Russell, and pretty much no other big names, this film takes you into the Antarctic wilderness to discover alien life. Night Shyamalan noteworthy twists. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Adrien Brody, Dallas Bryce Howard, and William Hurt among others, and brings to life a wonderful love story with many drama/thriller elements. Join us as we get into our very first review featuring a guest! This week we opened our studio up and brought NBRR&M mega-fan Margaret in to join us in a review of Death Becomes Her. The movie stars Bruce Willy, Goldie Hawn, and Meryl Streep and gets zanier as the movie progresses. We all agreed that this has a very Beetlejuice, Tim Burton, Addams Family vibe to it. Unfortunately we are not reviewing a Tombstone pizza this week, we are reviewing the Wyatt Earpian flick Tombstone. (Although I probably would've given a Tombstone pizza a better score, just saying). In odd fashion, we decided to review Odd Thomas this week. That was a poor decision because there were some.. different choices made during the production of this film. The term "having zero expectations" sums up our thoughts before watching this week's listener request, Magic Mike. The film, which stars Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, and Cody Horn, is much more than just fan-service to ladies everywhere. While it does have several scenes with men stripping, the story goes far beyond that. It surprised a few of our reviewers to say the least. Check out this week's review on Magic Mike. I'm going to be coy about telling you which movie we review in this episode, but if you need some help guessing I'll give you a Clue. That is more than you'll get from this week's movie to try to figure out the Scooby-Doo type murder mystery. With an almost impossible amount of evidence to point out the right murderer, Clue is an a wonderful 80's flick that had most of us laughing. Starring mostly nobody's aside Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd, it brings the board-game to life in this adaptation. Check out this episode to get our full thoughts!
