It's been a while since Mike has been able to break out a bad accent, so we all thought it was time to unleash the Boston accent and review The Departed. The Scorcese film stars Jack Nicholson, Leo and his signature smush-face, Matt "Can't Act" Damon, and Oscar-Nominated-For-This-Role Marky Mark. We loved it, we hated it, we were somewhere in between. Guess you'll never know until you listen to this episode. 

We love us some good ole campy-horror-comedy! For a great example, look no further than our review of Little Shop Of Horrors. Starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin (and an excellent Bill Murray cameo), this flick brings a great ensemble to the musical genre, and makes everything work! Not quite a spoof, perhaps not a full on action flick, what exactly is Hot Fuzz? It's one part of Edgar Wright's Three Flavour Cornetto trilogy, that's what it is! Starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, this love letter is an amazing ode to all action-comedies. Don't believe us? Check it out for yourself and then listen to our review!

We are basically dubbing this the "Asian Version of Dredd," because that's exactly what this film is. It is an apartment complex packed with high flying kick-assery and explosions. Join us this week for a review of Dredd. 

A few days late, but never a dollar short - I think there is some sort of phrase that goes like that! We're back this week with a brand new review of Commando! This waaaaaayyyy over-the-top Arnie flick brings out everything that is the best in action (also probably the worst). Join us this week as we dive into this flick. Back this week with another banger! This week we bring you a review of John Wick! Right in time for the sequel, we thought we'd take a look back at how the series was started. In this flick, Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, a badass hitman that will stop to avenge the death of puppies. He's really a puppy avenger if you think about it. I want to start by saying this episode with be filled with spoilers, so if you do not want to ruin the movie Logan, I suggest you wait until you have seen it before listening. This week of Action April we bring you a review of the latest in the X-Men Universe, Logan. Starring Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart, this film takes on the R-Rating for a superhero film. We might've enjoyed it, and we might've hated it... I guess you'll have to listen to the episode to find out. 

How this one made it into "Sports Films March" I have no idea; all of the other films at least loosely tied into a sport. At any rate, this week we bring you a review of The Rover. Starring Guy Pearce and Edward (or was maybe it was Jacob - I've never seen crappy Twilight), The Rover is a brutal dive into the post-apocalyptic wasteland. Also, may I suggest skipping right ahead to the 17:00 minute mark. You will not be disappointed. 

We're gonna keep this string of Bruce Willy movies going this week, with Unbreakable. Alongside Bruce Willy, Sam Jackson stars in this "Almost A Super Hero Origin Story." Check out this episode to get the low down, or the down low, whichever you prefer. 

We have triumphantly returned this week with a brand new episode! This week we're breaking down the slightly miscombobulated Kevin Smith flick, Cop Out. Starring Bruce Willy and Tracy Morgan, this buddy-cop comedy will leave you either loving or hating it (or somewhere in the middle; who am I to tell someone how they're going to be feeling?). Apparently The Last Boy Scout isn't about camping and tying knots. Nonetheless, we are here with a fresh new review of this 90s (I'll be honest again, I didn't check when this movie was made, so here is to hoping it was the 90s) action-sports flick. Starring Bruce Willis and Don Cheadle (Damon Wayans) and coming from writer Shane Black, this film is entrenched deeply into the action genre. Check out this episode to get our thoughts! Starring Hugh Jackman, Russel Crowe, and Anne Halftheway, Les Miserables brings to life an oddly-English, yet still french, story. I said that weird, but hopefully you get it. It's been a while since we've reviewed a movie released recently... until now! We bring you an excellent episode on War On Everyone! The film, which stars Michael Pena and Alexander Skarsgard, features to badass dirty cops who do more damage to the law than abide by it. Since this film is written and directed by the brother of writer/director of two of our favorites (In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths), it definitely piqued our interest!
