We weren't able to record any episodes this week due to a snow storm, so our wonderful host, Michael Lucas, stepped up and recorded a couple episodes on his own. Last episode was his thoughts on the Academy Awards. Who knows what this one is?! Listen in to find out!

Our Score - 8.88 (A)          Rotten Tomatoes - 93%          IMDB - 8.5/10 We continue Academy Award Movies Month with a review of Damien Chazelle's 2014 Best Picture Nominee, 'Whiplash'. Chazelle (La La Land) directs this thrilling music drama to perfection, and the characters are brought to life by a career best performance from Miles Teller and J.K. Simmons, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor. This movie is a must see!  

Our Score - 7.59 (B+)          Rotten Tomatoes - 85%          IMDB - 8/10 William Friedkin's 1973 masterpiece, The Exorcist, is a rare gem, a horror movie unanimously loved by both critics and audiences. Nominated for an incredible TEN Academy Awards, and winning six, nobody can deny the fact that The Exorcist is an iconic and classic horror film. Our Score - 7.5 (B+)          Rotten Tomatoes - 88%          IMDB - 7.8 Academy Awards Month continues with this review of Awakenings (1990). This movie stars Robert De Niro alongside Robin Williams which is more than enough for us to recommend you see it. This movie garnered Matthew McConaughey his only Academy Award (Best Actor) as well as a Best Supporting Actor award for Jared Leto and a nomination for Best Picture.
