    I had the opportunity to see Brittni Darras speak at TedX MileHigh this summer, and after a room of 2500 people gave her a standing ovation, I knew I really wanted to have her and her inspiring story on Extraordinary Women Radio! Brittni is a high school English teacher who hand-wrote personalized cards to her 130 students following a student’s suicide attempt. Her story - which went viral - is heartfelt and inspiring and has spread kindness and positivity around the world. She tells us how kind words can make a difference in the lives of many. Brittni speaks my own love-language, as she talks about the importance of getting to know someone for who they truly are at a deep level - and then taking the time to really acknowledge all that is wonderful about that person back to that person. Brittni has created such a huge ripple effect student-by-student, but has also inspired others to create their own unique ways of spreading love.
