Predict-o-cast: The Movie Prediction Podcast

We continue our summer series of supernatural comedies with the aptly-named My Mom's A Werewolf. This movie's got it all: cheap-looking werewolves, John Saxon being a creep, a visit to a very weird dentist, and a man with the excellent name Lou Lamont (or does it?). 

We keep rolling right along with the Summer Spooktacular (or whatever it is we're calling it) by revealing our next film: My Mom's a Werewolf. This title is so obvious, it'll probably zig when we expect to zag and have no werewolves at all! 

We finally tackle a Steve Guttenberg film as we continue our unintentional Silly Summer Spook-A-Thon (or whatever we're calling this) with 1988's horror comedy High Spirits. Why isn't Beverly D'Angelo attracted to Steve Guttenberg? Why is Daryl Hannah so attracted to Steve Guttenberg? Just how tall is Liam Neeson? Why is that horse talking? Was Peter O'Toole really drunk all the time? Will we answer any of these questions? You'll have to listen in to find out. 

In this mini episode, we come up with a much better movie than High Spirits could ever be. If this movie is not about stoned ghosts, then what are we even doing with our lives? 

In our most musical episode to date, we sink our fangs into the super goofy horror/musical comedy Rockula, wherein there are good songs, bad songs, and absolutely AWFUL songs. Plus: our hero has a sassy reflection, the ability to turn into a walking fart, and a band with Bo Diddley. We also invent an absolutely killer song about monsters mashing things. 

In this mini episode, we break down the title of our next film and try to figure out what it could be. Rockula sounds pretty awesome on its face: a cool rock 'n roll vampire, but can it match the awesomeness of our pitch? Tune in next week to find out for sure!

Still, there are good goofs within this episode and a special appearance by Skinner's daughter, who is just the best. You should listen for her commentary alone.

This is what we've been waiting for! We usher in the double digits by diving into one of the coolest, sleaziest 80s action ozploitation films to ever exist: Turkey Shoot. If you don't know anything about this movie, watch it now because we are going to spoil the greatest moment in the movie (and one of the greatest moments in movie history) and you need to see it for yourself before we do. Surprise! On this high holy day, we take a look at 1996's romantic comedy April Fools Rush  In, where we predict something that shouldn't be possible in this film, but somehow is. Also, lots of talk of pagers. It was the 90s after all.
