Crackdown 3 was delayed once again - what does this mean for the Microsoft conference at E3 this year, and for Xbox in general? Does it give us reason to be worried, and does it signal that they may have something that we haven't anticipated ready to announce on Sunday? Finally, we're so happy to have been joined by Parris Lilly, co-host of Gamertag Radio, for an extended interview on the show. He talks about how he got into podcasting, his favorite memories attending E3, how he got to give Phil Spencer direct feedback on Kinect, and what he's most looking forward to at E3 this year. We have extensive E3 coverage planned for this year, with a new episode dedicated to each major conference starting with Electronic Arts on Saturday, all the way through Nintendo on Tuesday. On this special episode of The Gaming Hub, we take a look at E3 2018 and each company, anticipating what they might have up their sleeves at the biggest gaming show of the year. Will EA bring more than Anthem and Battlefield V? How excited is Steven for Kingdom Hearts? We talk about what Bethesda ahs to do to keep their amazing momentum from previous E3 shows, and what Ubisoft has to do in order to not leave us feeling "meh" about their show. As for the big three, we know Nintendo has Pokemon and Smash Brothers to show off this year, but what else is Graham hoping to see from his favorite console maker? We dig into whether Sony is the runaway favorite to "win" E3 in 2018 and what would have to happen for them to lose, as well as what Microsoft has to deliver this year in what is a pivotal E3 for the Xbox. • Episode 97 - Battlefield V or Black Ops IV?

    26/05/2018 Duración: 01h55min

Battlefield V was revealed this week, with new modes, no Premium Pass, and a return to the World War II setting. Is this the game we wanted from DICE, and will the (sort of) Battle Royale mode in it appeal to us as gemers? We discuss the war stories, Combined Arms, and how Grand Operations will add an element of Battle Royale to the game. Ultimately, now that we've seen both Battlefield V and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which do we think we'll be playing more of come October? We also discuss the loaded October release schedule, how Death Stranding will rely on collaboration, and the rumors that Nintendo will be developing a Nintendo 64 mini console for release. Finally, for fans of Madden, it's coming out early this year - how excited are we? We detail all new releases for each console in our releases segment, and answer plenty of questions in our fan mail segment at the end of the show. 19/05/2018 Duración: 01h59min

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was revealed this week, and we have our reactions ready. Does the lack of single player in the new game bother us, and what do we think about the new Battle Royale mode called Blackout? Aside from Call of Duty, are we happy that Battle Royale is the new trend in gaming? We discuss the likelihood that the new craze will become a staple in all shooter games going forward. There were more delays this week, including Ubisoft's Skull and Bones, which was delayed until 2019. We discuss whether it's better to delay a game (sometimes even multiple times) or to keep the release date promise and continue to support the game post-release to make the experience better. Do games like The Division, Sea of Thieves, and the original Titanfall deserve second chances months or more after release? We detail all new releases for each console in our releases segment, and answer plenty of questions in our fan mail segment at the end of the show. To be entered for future giveaways, join our community and s

    12/05/2018 Duración: 02h52s

This week, Nintendo announced their online service for just $20 per year, but is it a good value? We get into a spirited discussion about the features it does and does not offer, and we don't all agree on whether or not it is a good service. In other news, Sony finally announced it's E3 conference date and time - is it a change from years past? Walmart Canada has appeared to ruin a good portion of the upcoming surprise announcements at E3, and we take the time to both blame Graham and discuss the potential announcements and how much impact they will have.  Finally, what steps is Microsoft taking to close the gap in exclusive titles with Sony? We detail all new releases for each console in our releases segment, and answer plenty of questions in our fan mail segment at the end of the show. • Episode 93 - Will Universities Be the Future of E-Sports?

    28/04/2018 Duración: 02h02min

We apologize for the technical issues very early in the episode. For the first few minutes, Graham's voice is choppy, but it corrects itself in the first 10 minutes. Thanks for your understanding and support! With Ashland University announcing that they will offer scholarships to players for a Fortnite E-Sports team, does this signal the beginning of the NCAA getting into gaming as a competitive sport? The Gaming Hub team discusses this question and a lot more of this week's gaming news, including Nintendo's E3 conference announcement, Sony's insane console sales numbers, and what we would like to see from the upcoming Nintendo online service. In addition, Graham and Steve debate whether God of War or Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the better choice if someone has $60 to spend. We detail the releases for the upcoming week and the new free games for May, including Xbox's impressive Games With Gold lineup for the month before E3. Finally, we answer some great questions from the community in our weekly Fan Mail se

Also, Steve has had a chance to play a little of God of War, and we get his thoughts on the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 might not have a campaign when it releases this fall, and we discuss the impact that might have on the game, and what the overall strategy for Activision is here. In addition, Dark Souls Remastered gets a delay on the Nintendo Switch, and we discuss the top games that you can play on the Xbox One right now in case you can't play God of War on the PlayStation. Where did games like Halo 5, The Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V, and Sunset Overdrive rank for us? Finally, we break down the biggest upcoming releases on all three major consoles, as well as answer questions from the communi

    14/04/2018 Duración: 01h32min

This week, Rare released their content update strategy for Sea of Thieves through the summer - will it be enough to satisfy players that don't feel there is enough content in the game? We discuss this, as well as the problem Microsoft faces this year with having little in the way of top-tier exclusives to put up against Sony's God of War and Spiderman. Speaking of God of War, it's coming out soon, and we hear it's pretty good. We discuss the early reviews of the upcoming PlayStation exclusive and talk about how excited we are to get our hands on it next week. In addition, Xbox is releasing another 19 games in backwards compatibility, and we discuss whether this is really a viable strategy in opposition to Sony's new AAA games. By joining our community, you can take part in some pretty cool stuff and even have the chance to win prizes that are given
