Recently Jenny and Mike had the chance to speak with Mike Kingston, author of the forthcoming comic book Headlocked. Listen in to hear the writer's thoughts about wrestling, comic books and how they're not that dissimilar.

First James and Mike answer several e-mails, then they dive headfirst into a steaming pile of BTAS episodes. "Joker's Wild" numbs the brain. "Tyger, Tyger" isn't so bad... depending on who you ask. "Moon of the Wolf" is the worst episode of Batman: The Animated Series, period. Though not as good as the first part, "Day of the Samurai" is sort of okay... yet completely nonsensical. Then there's "Terror in the Sky" with its hints at marital unrest.

Kellen, Randy and Steph return once more, this time to recap Ai-Kon 2007.

Jenny and Mike (well, Mike mostly) gush over the leaked Iron Man footage that was shown in San Diego this past weekend and briefly discuss The Dark Knight teaser trailer before jumping into the August Previews.

Is classic literature geeky? That's the question Mike asked of the audience before recording the weekly segment Is It Wednesday Yet? with Des. What did the duo think of the latest batch of comic books? You know how to find out.

Nerds date? Damn straight! Jenny had a lengthy chat with Bathsheba Birman and Julia Borcherts, organizers of Nerds at Heart. If you're wondering how a nerd like you can get a date, you'll want to listen to this episode. These ladies will also be at Wizard World Chicago, overseeing a Dating for Nerds gaming tournament.

Ian reviews all three (yes, three) Fantastic Four movies, and tosses in some comic book movie news to boot. Before that, however, Jenny and Mike discuss everything from their lack of interest in The Simpsons Movie to Mike's bursting desire to see The Dark Knight teaser trailer to haircuts.

"Night of the Ninja" explores a small portion of Bruce Wayne's shrouded youth. Nothing makes sense in "Cat Scratch Fever." Once the rogues appear, "The Strange Secret of Bruce Wayne" becomes a fun episode. The two-part "Heart of Steel" is remarkable for introducing Barbara Gordon, and for its otherworldly eeriness. And "If You're So Smart, Why Aren't You Rich?" finally introduces The Riddler.

It's Tuesday, so you know what that means; it's time for another rousing edition of Is It Wednesday Yet? by Des and Mike. What comics do they discuss this time? Answering would be telling, but here's a clue (in song form): "... does whatever a spider can."

Mike and Jenny hand the show over to Kellen, Randy and Steph who discuss the upcoming anime convention Ai-Kon 2007.

Jenny and Mike roll out their thoughts on the live action Transformers movie. Did it have the touch, or was it a steaming pile in disguise?

Jenny sat down with Josh Elder to talk about his manga series Mail Order Ninja, The Batman Strikes #36 and several other upcoming projects.

There seems to be a theme to this batch of comic books, that being demons. We have gangsters being devoured by demons (The Darkness: Level 5), as well as demons wanting to molest goth girls (Hack/Slash: The Series #3). Superheroes (one of which is a demon) fight a few demons (Unholy Union), whilst a demon-schoolgirl fights even more demons (Witchblade Takeru Manga #6). That's a lot of demons!

Two months into Countdown and Des and Mike are no closer to discovering the truth behind the event, though theories are abound! In addition to Mary Marvel's panties and the erasure of "Superboy" from the DC lexicon, the duo discussed issues 47, 46, 45 and 44.

Before discussing the July Previews, Jenny and Mike chat about concerts and what makes one better than another. And Jenny seems to be confused about Van Halen.

We're baaaaack! (In all seriousness, sorry about the long delay between episodes.) This time around Alfred takes the fall for Bruce ("Eternal Youth"). In "Perchance to Dream" Bruce Wayne is given his dream life, but turns it away. An international thief targets Batman in "The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy." Dick Grayson's emotional origin is recounted ("Robin's Reckoning"). And The Joker plots another zany scheme in "The Laughing Fish."
