Simplicity involves decreasing our desire for material things so we can increase our desire for spiritual things. It involves living with less so we can enjoy our relationship with God and others more. It involves learning to be content. (1 Timothy 6:6-10; 17-19; Matthew 6:19-33)

The practice of fasting engages our physical bodies in communication with God. But how, when, and why? (Lev. 23:26-28, Isaiah 58: 3-7, II Chronicles 20:2 - 4, Luke 18:1-14)

Prayer is an important part of a Christian's spiritual practice which leads to transformation. This message looks at using ACTS to give structure and balance to the daily prayer life of the Christian. (Matt 6:9-13)

Sabbath has always been about a God-ordained rhythm of work and rest. It involves slowing down and living the way God intended us to live - in restful, joyful dependence on God. (Genesis 2:1-3; Exodus 20:8-11; Isaiah 58:13, 14; Mark 2:23-27; Hebrews 4:1-11)

Of all the spiritual practices, the number one catalyst for spiritual growth is the Word of God. Consider why it's so important and how to best approach the Scriptures for transformation instead of just information. (Matthew 13:1-23)
