Omar Jolly • Blindness was common at the time that Jesus walked among us while in Bethsaida. • The god of this world has blinded the understanding of many to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. • As the Lord Jesus did, the miracle of the giving of sight was shown in Mark 8:22-25 in a progressive way until clarity comes, as it happens to many of in the realm of Spiritual awakenings. This was only miracle done by Jesus which wasn't complete the first time. • As shown, sight or perception doesn't always come instantly. He is the God of the second touch. • The reason that Jesus came was to help us see, as God intends us to see. • As valuable is our physical sight, every human also has spiritual eyes which the Holy Spirit wants to open and begin to perceive the Kingdom of God. • Real friends will lead us to abundant life, and take us to Jesus, and love us in spite of our shortcomings. • When we aren't seeing correctly, the Lord is willing to touch us again. • There is nothing like having one on One

A great test for anything that we do is this: Is it drawing us closer to Jesus or away from Him? At what point do we realize and believe that Jesus can do anything? When we come to grips that the same God Who spoke order into chaos, can also speak peace into our chaos, and that He loves us, then good things can begin to happen. True faith is always followed by action, but fear will make us fail. Jesus was born so that humanity could win our spiritual battles and temptations that come against us. God wants all of humanity to become overcomers. Our weapons include prayer in Holy Spirit, fasting, worship and our faith. Once born into the Kingdom of God through the Gospel, we are given authority & power to win the fight of our lives through Jesus Christ.

April 21, 2021 | Pastor Nathan Elms How do we serve this moment? We can sometimes connect with people by answering people's questions about our faith. Jesus showed that the contents of our hearts is much more important than the outward appearance shown. Change is not slowing down, but instead is speeding up rapidly around us. We can't be afraid of broken people. We must be agile in our leadership since the separation of our culture will not only continue, but worsen. The difficulties of the questions posed to the church will become more divisive not less. Love unconditionally towards others will always succeed.
